  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Evolution Promotes Brutality

Ok, short "readers digest" version. Satan contaminated the human genome with the Nepilim in an attempt to make God's plan of salvation through Christ impossible. Thus the flood and Noah's family was the only humans "pure in their generations" who could continue pure human DNA. Later, due to Noah's daughters in law not being pure DNA lines, some of their offspring were Nephilim lines. God wanted these completely obliterated for the sake of mankind.....thus the times of genocide. However, when this was not carried out, further trouble ensued down the line for God's chosen people and even the gentiles

Ignoring for a moment that we have DNA from ancient people, and there's no sign of it being abnormal in any major way...

So, basically, God - a perfect being - tried to do something, and he failed? Continuously?

Andf if the flood wiped out all the impure bloodlines, how did Noah's pure bloodline get tainted?

And why did God allow Satan to contiminate it in the first place? He can see everything, so he had to know that was happening. Why allow Satan to do that, THEN clean the mess afterwards? And even after it happens, why does he have to get rid of the bloodlines by killing everything with floods and genocide? Why can't he just purify the bloodlines?

Anyone else noticing a recurring theme of God attempting to keep the human race down and failing?

Yes, and it seems like God's solution to his failures is always "Kill 'em all." Despite, you know, being omnipotent.

Oh, I'm guessing you learned a new word and it makes you feel hip using it?
You mean like here?

Or the other sixteen times I've used it since then?

It can be hardly said the evolution "promotes" brutality, but I can agree that upon studying evolution it is easy to conclude that life is brutal in many, many ways.

Which for me pokes yet another hole in the stories about a God who supposedly loves us.

Not quite. Satan had his fallen subordinates try to destroy the blood line.

By the wives of his sons.

IDK, I just know that's what is recorded in the books of ancient history.

So let me get this straight...God killed nearly everyone on earth to get rid of impure bloodlines, but the women who are needed to repopulate the earth had impure bloodlines themselves, thereby making the flood pointless genocide?

You love the opinion of men, who eat from the Tree of Knowledge.

Have you set aside the way of the pure? The way and entrance into His Kingdom?

That's a bit of tunnel vision. He had the flood because.....

Genesis 6,
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

and
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
and
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

Remember, I was giving the "readers digest" version?

So, the earth would not have survived if only Noah, his wife and three sons were living with millions of the people mentioned in the above verses.

To take three wives of hybrid or imperfect DNA, which Noah chose for his sons, there is perfectly scientific basis that they could produce pure humans with human DNA only.

This would end up with a much better chance of repopulating the world with humans of Pure DNA. However, some Nephilim did show up and this confirms the "and also after that" part of ....

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Knowing that Noah chose the wives, one could speculate that their DNA, although not pure, was diluted enough to be acceptable to repopulate the earth.
