Do you think it is bad to wear converse shoes / bags / clothes because their logo is a pentagram in a circle? I had a classmate who told me that it's a satanic symbol. Is it true?

The symbol on all USAnian military aircraft is a pentagram in a circle (with horizontal bars) and the US flag features fifty pentagrams. You are worrying about nothing.

Their logo isn't a pentagram, it is just a star in a circle. The word Pentagram comes from Greek and the two Greek words being put together are "Pente", meaning five, and "Grammē" meaning line. The converse logo is a solid colored star, not a star consisting of 5 lines.

Well, consider this, converse sneakers are mostly worn by rebellious teenagers. I had a pair and on the tag it had stuff about rock n' roll and general rebellion. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft.

So, to avoid all appearance of evil I ditched the converse. They pinch your toes anyway. People only wear them to 'look cool'. But then their toes start getting bunions.

I wouldn't patronise a starbucks on principle. I'm not addicted to coffee but some people are and they will ONLY go to a starbucks cafe. Why? Not cos of the coffee, which is terrible, but because of the brand.

I will say not buying something because what others do with it doesn't make much sense. I mean if thats how we live then we shouldn't be on computers or online because child porn, porn, murder, death videos...etc are also used by others on the internet. The clothes we wear in america are mostly made outside the country by people being paid pennies who usually suffer through life. Some get killed, some die...etc. So we shouldn't wear clothes either.

BTW I'm just making a point, with that said though its up to us to do what we feel convicted about. So I can't judge on that. Me? I don't think people should drink (alcohol) or smoke at all, so its why I tend to have nothing to do with that stuff or people related to it. But its just my own decision to do so.

Thank you really good arguments. I have religious OCD (it's much better now) so I have struggles of figuring out whether something is sinful or not.

Its ok, I can be the same way sometimes. I want to be safe rather then sorry. I sometimes give my wife a hard time about the clothing actually. Drives her nuts.

It's only a Satanic symbol - inverted pentagram - if the wearer walks on their hands. A general rule in life is to avoid people who walk on their hands and wear Converse sneakers.
