Well---It doesn't look like you'll need to worry about being bored. God wants people who love Him above everything and who will be happy with Him. He wouldn't want you unhappy, so, off hand, I'd say you won't be there!!!
But I assume that self-important, judgemental, holier-than-thou gits will be welcomed with open arms, right? ;)

Anyone who could create sex can't make a boring heaven.

The moment you're about to post an awesome thumbs up Keanu Reeves .gif and realize you haven't made 50 posts yet... :/

If you sincerely believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for you, accept Him as Lord and Savior, you'll see Him... no matter if you have a negative opinion on Heaven or not. :)

Like... traditional worship? I'm sorry, can you give me an example of liturgical worship?

For those of us who didn't grow up in liturgical environments (I grew up Evangelical/Pentecostal) liturgical worship is kind of hard to grasp. It really has to be experienced. You can look up videos of an Orthodox Divine Liturgy or a Catholic or Lutheran Mass, but watching and participating really are fundamentally different experiences.

The word "liturgy" is from the Greek leitourgia, quite literally "the actions of the people" or "a public work"; it refers to the entirety of what happens when the Faithful gather together to "do" church. More specifically when we say "liturgical worship" we refer to the traditional way which Christians have worshiped since the beginning, as the way Christians have worshiped were fundamentally shaped by the Jewish liturgical forms of the 1st century, both in the Synagogue and the Temple. This includes the singing/chanting of hymns, offering of prayers, Scripture readings, etc.

The basic template or form of liturgical worship has remained the same for two thousand years.

So I decided to take a peek at liturgical worship: It appears more like a ceremony more than anything. I mean, I go to a Baptist Church, we have songs/hymns, praise, and singing... but I really don't participate in it. My church begins at 11:00am, I generally leave my house during that time so I can arrive at 11:30am to hear the preaching. I love how the Holy Spirit NEVER ceases to move me and how God always teaches me something. :)

But yeah, I would attend traditional hymn/song service before preaching, but the church I attend uses lots of guitars, drums, yada yada yada... I'm more accustomed to pianos. I guess it isn't my style. :/

Not to get off topic, of course! xD

I'm sure things will be different in Heaven. We don't know.

"But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." (1 Corinthians 6:17)

So, in the Holy Spirit we are more intimate than only physical sex. Right inside of us, we are each "one spirit with" the LORD Himself. And He is more beautifully wonderful and perfect than the sex which He did create.

When a couple has sex in God's love, I think they discover how the love is better than the sensations of the sex. So, may be God made sex in order to demonstrate, by comparison, how in His love we are even more deeply intimate with better pleasure :)

And this is now. We already are beholding Jesus, in us, now >

"My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you," (Galatians 4:19)

So, I now consider, that if sexual sensation is calling attention to itself and not glorifying God, it could be a trick of lust which is not humble but exalts itself above God and Heaven.

I think that means we're in the body of God. Like, Heaven and the New Earth. I am aware, however, that we'll talk with Jesus and do activities with him... but that will all be secondary in comparison to knowing Him and worshiping Him.

Something just came to me! The Bible states in Matthew 22:30 - At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. So, according to the Bible, the resurrection takes place at the eternal heaven, NOT the intermediate Heaven... when we die we go to the intermediate Heaven... so does that mean...

There's sex in the intermediate Heaven? According to the Bible, we're NOT resurrected in our new bodies after we die.

BOOM! BRAIN FOOD!

Now, I know many of you are like: "No it's not! It'll be beautiful, we can explore a vast world, we'll sing, eat and dance and have lots of fun!" Yeah, I read that. I'm a Baptist Christian, and I'm reading through Heaven by Randy Alcorn -- and Heaven STILL isn't appealing to me. I mean, sure, if you're an extrovert who loves the outside and social activities. I'm more of an indoor person unless it involves something unique and exciting.

From what I read, New Earth will be located here -- there'll be a New Jerusalem, an eternal Heaven, and amongst other things. We'll be able to communicate face-to-face with Christ, eat at large banquets (PS: If I were in Heaven, I could honestly care less about food), explore the unknown, etc.

But...

All my questions I asked in the past concerning Heaven were met with "maybes" or a flat-out "no": I may be able to explore fictional universes beyond eternal Heaven, or ideas I wrote up in my earthly body; there will not be sex in Heaven, but some sort of "transformed version" of it; and all love in Heaven is agape love--or brotherly love.

Honestly, Islamic Paradise (no, I'm not a Muslim) seems a bit more appealing... :/

Are you asking what you will know about Heaven? Or what you will remember?

When you get older sex really doesn't mean a whole lot anymore.

And the vast majority of people who say that are married, non-virgins, etc.

I'm sure lifelong bachelors and bachelorettes who miss out before they die would care to disagree.

Perhaps it would help to Identify with Christ instead of sex.

Perhaps that is why you said "Honestly, Islamic Paradise (no, I'm not a Muslim) seems a bit more appealing...".

The 72 virgins is a lie and is fully manifested when the flames of hell show up instead of the virgins.

If you have any idea that Heaven will be something less than satisfying compared with your earth-bound existence...you have it all wrong.

Heaven will be the best of the best, beyond your wildest dream, without the bad, and eclipse every worldly idea you ever had.

On the other hand, if you don't like the sounds of it...just tell God, you want nothing of it.

Ah, yes, the old "Deal with it, or burn in Hell!" argument.

Works wonders when trying to minister to the confused, the scared, etc.

A Russian Paschal liturgy:

A typical Coptic liturgy, on the feast of the Epiphany:

A rare Russian Hierarchical Divine Liturgy of St. James:

An Antiochene consecration liturgy:

The old Tridentine RC liturgy:

The apostle Paul never married a wife. He must have seen something far better.
Yeah, his sanity ehehe
