That would depend on which version of Jesus you were talking about.
Would you care to expand on that statement? Is there a version 1.0 vs 1.1?
There is only one version of Jesus and His nature does not change. There are quite a few followers of Jesus, who have erroneously added their own perceptions and traditions and interpretations of who Jesus is. Though they have done this, it does not change the nature of Jesus Himself. Yes, Christians can be arrogant, and yes, we can be wrong, and I am sorry about that. We are called to follow Jesus, who was selfless, He came to SERVE not to BE SERVED. At times we have lost sight of who Jesus is and who He is asking us to be. At times we have failed to allow His love to transform our lives, instead becoming complacent in our own lives and becoming self-satisfied. That does not change the nature of Jesus. Jesus could not stand people who were self-righteous in their religious ways, look at how He spoke to the Pharisees. He constantly condemned them because He knew their hearts, He knew that they had no love within them and that they were looking for the first error in anyone that they could find so that they could point it out and make people feel horrible about themselves and unloveable by God the Father. Jesus could not stand that. But Jesus did defend the prostitute, the adulteress, He kept company with the tax collector and others who were looked down on and despised. Jesus knew that they were looking for the love of God the Father, Jesus knew that they wanted to know that God saw them as worth it, loveable and valuable and Jesus brought that love to them, feeding it to them little by little, in ways that they could accept it. Jesus had compassion on the masses, He healed their sick, He healed their lame, the blind, the deaf, the dumb, and not only did He take care of the the physical matters, but He took care of what was most important, the spiritual matters. He taught them that the most important commandment was to love God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your strength, and then to love your neighbor as you love yourself. If you love God then God will show you how to love others, which is a compassionate love that does not hurt anyone. If you love your neighbor as you love yourself, you would NEVER harm your neighbor because you would never harm yourself. This is who Jesus is, that is His nature, and that will never change, no matter how anyone may say or do actions that may reflect poorly on us Christians, and all of us Christians are guilty of that to some extent, because we all fall short of the glory of God, which is why we need Jesus in the first place because without Him, who is perfect, without the help of the one who has been through every human experience and yet is without sin, we could not learn to love God or one another on the level that He is calling us to.
