My Mentor Diagnosed with cancer

I grew up without a dad.

The guy I looked up to for spiritual leadership for so many years has been diagnosed with liver and pancreatic cancer. It is beyond the stage that they can do anything for him. Even chemo would not help now.

He took the news very badly.

I too grow without a father. I saw him last time in 1994. Then he left me.

I never had a mentor though. You are a lucky man. I wish he gets better.

If he doesn't get better, make sure you make him happy. Make something for him. Something that he loved. Take him on a trip, or give him a present. And be there.
