I have so much to do tomorrow and not enough time to do it all.

I have too much to do this week and here I am. Having said that I think this place is addictive in a nice way

Excellent job. Looks just right. Did this one smell like the first one? LOL!!! Ireland can back me up on this, they smell and taste sooooo much better than they look, and they really look good!

Thanks! This one was easier than my first attempt. The smell was great!!! It's like smelling all the things that make Autumn amazing rolled into one and the scent filled the entire house, even the basement. We made hand pies with the remaining filling this morning...they were sooooooooooo good. I've already had to get on my parents. ha ha ha. They tried to get in the cake last night! Hopefully the pies have placated them.

Thanks! This one was easier than my first attempt. The smell was great!!! It's like smelling all the things that make Autumn amazing rolled into one and the scent filled the entire house, even the basement. We made hand pies with the remaining filling this morning...they were sooooooooooo good. I've already had to get on my parents. ha ha ha. They tried to get in the cake last night! I hope you have something to placate them tonight and tomorrow. Of course, you could always do what my sister did when she was a little girl and wanted to prevent someone from eating it. She would make a sign that said, "DANGER! Do not eat! POISON!" We had a lot of poisonous leftovers.

At this point, if I could hide it I would. Your sister sounds like she was a cutie.
I don't think they'd believe me though if I put a sign on it that said poison. My Dad would probably use that as an excuse to eat it. I'll probably have to camp out near the fridge to keep an eye on it.

This is my favorite time of the year...... but sadly it comes with one of my least favorite questions being asked by family.

"What do you want?"

I WANT plenty of things, but the things on the list for things that are reasonable requests for Christmas gifts....... I already bought myself....

I either need to just start saying donate the money to a charity........ or... find long lost family members that don't mind giving new cars and stuff for Christmas presents. (Hey, it could happen..... cars as Christmas gifts happens in Lexus commercials every year at this time. )

My sister was the baby of the family. I'm 6.5 years older than her, so, by the time she was 8 or 9, I was as big as most grown men. She was protected from pretty much everything. She tended to do really silly and "cute" things simply because she was so innocent about everything. She also hates it when I tell stories about the things she did. Which came in really handy when she started dating.

Well that used to be my family....... except, the gifts were not meant to be bad or gag gifts.

Im not looking to go back to that.....

Im not materialistic, but I hate when people give bad gifts.... not because I want "things". I dislike bad gifts cause I have to hold on to useless things because the person tried and Id feel bad just tossing it.
