In order for evolution to work, it needs TIME, aka an old earth.

O.H. I believe in an old earth , but there is an aspect of the process of 'evolution ' which
is illusionary .God did not create us by evolution ,but as is described in Genesis ,and there is a large part missing to fill in the complete picture . God does not allow anyone to know the whole 'story' .This is where the churches the ,sola scripturists ,the scientists ,the thelogians all clash as God does not allow anyone to know more than
is neccessary for Him to know who we are , where we are coming from as individuals ,and to advance knowledge and science to the point where we can be here, discussing, learning , relating .When did any good teacher ever think they know everything, and can teach their pupils all that there is to know They don't and any teacher or church who does so, is keeping God out of the picture .
We are learning ,but that is all . God wishes us to be seekers , because in doing so we are seeking Him and His Creation . Those who are not,who are doing it for their own gain and egos will die to the future .

Go on ,show us the evidence of the objective analysis .You are on a christian website , may I ask why so many posts to prove atheism ? Why don't you go to an Atheist one ? Is it because it is empty of life , DEAD ,and you need some warmth from the the christian 'Light' from God ?

-_- cryptids are only considered such until they are confirmed to exist. The only non Lazarus taxan cryptids I know of to leave their cryptid status are giant squid and okapi; the former's proportions were greatly exaggerated in most of the stories that mentioned them as well. For reference, Lazarus taxan are species that were thought to be extinct that are discovered to still be alive.

If you read 1Enoch it says the giants ate all the acquisitions of man, and then started to eat animals and and even people. They ate everything they could find. One of the main reasons for the flood was to destroy those giants. Not the only reason but one of the main reasons.

The entertainment comes in seeing how certain people justify their beliefs. From a psychological standpoint, that is highly entertaining.

It is also entertaining to peek into the Christian only sections and watch Christians duke it out over who has the right theology.

There must be a myriad of atheist perspectives and varied beliefs that are justified with even worse data. Why not enjoy the lost atheists ?

I always observe, but have yet to find nearly the same entertainment value from atheists positions, that I do from certain types of Christians.

I can't believe something I can't reconcile with reality. Some can play those psychological gymnastics, others can't.

Well, that happens too. Long times Christians leaving Christ behind, despite His saving grace. I tried the atheist line of thought for quite some time, it leads nowhere. I wish you good fortune.

For the people who take the whole Bible literally, how literally do you take it? Cause that's my confusion. This fellow told me that if you believe the Bible literally you can't believe in Nasa, evolution, heliocentricism, spherical earth. To me it seems the Bible talks about certain "dinosaurs" that God created, like Behemoth and Leviathan, but others are hybrid offspring of the Nephilim having sex with animals. Mind you my Bible is way huger than the traditional canons.

And therein lies one of the big problems with religion. Pick and choose. Pick and choose those parts that you think support your viewpoint. Disregard the others.

You deem to have taken this a few steps farther, you include books that are not in the "authorized" version.

As I was saying, I don't believe in evolution as I don't have enough faith to believe in it and I don't believe God deals in accidents.

Evolution doesn't take faith. It is evidence based. Either the evidence convinces you or it doesn't. Nothing to do with faith. So the first thing you have to do is familiarize yourself with the evidence. This will take time and study. You can't approach it with your mind already made up.
