CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Holidays, how I am looking forward to them! I was pretty much ordered to start using my holiday leave because I had let it build up so long xD Haven't had a day off this year, so it will be nice.

I don't think it's ever enough time to be on staff, lol. I really enjoy it. But I'm a whole new place in my life right now, and I tend to grow every time I'm on staff, I learn new things. It's almost like travelling... I get to go to other parts of the forum that I usually wouldn't post in and meet people I may not have met in any other circumstance. It's a fun opportunity, IMO.

I'm good at multi-tasking! I'm just now eating my pizza.. and while doing that I'm here on CF. In a few minutes I plan on reading for a little bit. Then coming back to CF and on FB at the same time. I might even put Houzz into the mix... I love looking at Houses and interior design.

Pshww ... I've totally got Jennie Amber beat on that one. There was one time I remember exchanging frequent pm's with a friend from another forums community I was once a part of, drinking Dr. Pepper, reading an extremely lengthy Resident Evil plot analysis on gamefaqs.com, AND playing old episodes of The Golden Girls in winamp ... all in the middle of the night. ^-^
