  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's like trying to explain the futility and absurdity of gun control to a far left hippy liberal. You're better off debating a fence post.

I like it.... a thread about nothing! Like I drove 50 miles round trip to urgent care ctr so they could take x-ray of my right arm which I hurt by a fall. OK got x-ray nothing wrong! Gave me antiinflammatory and no pain med. My arm is still painting.... and I'm trying to post this


paining so bad I thought I had a fracture... No... so I go to my doc.. he's upset because I didn't go to him first and he would send me send me for x-ray....so he gives me muscle relaxer, tells me to use heating pad 8-12 times a day. Arm still mega pain...he gives me no pain med. I even asked if I could get a shot for the pain (I've had it for about a week) he says they don't give injections there. Got an appointment in a week to see how I'm doing..... too much medical junk for one day.,.. and arm still paining.,. oh boy

I'm more concerned that it could take somebody out, or someone's car, or embed itself in someone's living room.

There is also the potential for this shed becoming a man-cave or sorts ;). It is going to be on the side of the house where the electrical switchboard is located, so I will be digging a trench and running some 4mm cable in a conduit. It helps that I am a sparky. Some insulation under the floor and roof, lights, a beer fridge and computer. Nah, that other stuff can stay in the garage :p

I'm starting feel there is something un-Christian-like in going on about it too ... several Scriptures come to mind, but it wouldn't be nice to post them there ...
