You sure do love the computer you type on though. Thank science!![]()
Is that what smashed into earth and made it spin as you claim?
Still waiting for you to actually provide a proper scientific source that claims that the Earth only spins because of an impact.
Because I know for a fact that you have been told otherwise...
Well, wasn't it the little thingies that you claim hit the planet? Then later, to get some of the planets spinning some other way, bigger things? Fine tune us on the fable!Still waiting for you to actually provide a proper scientific source that claims that the Earth only spins because of an impact.

"While the planets were forming, there was not much peace in our solar system. Clumps of matter of all sizes often collided, and either stuck together or side-swiped each other, knocking off pieces and sending each other spinning."

While ignoring the only known force we know of proven to cause things to spin.

Despite the fact we are immersed in a magnetic field. Two of them to be precise. One causing orbital motion - the other spin.
EDIT:
3 magnetic fields Technically, but that one (galactic) is what causes stars to orbit. The galactic magnetic field causes it to spin - and causes stars to orbit. The suns magnetic field causes it to spin - and causes planets to orbit. Planetary magnetic fields cause planets to spin - and moons to orbit........

You don't read your own source, do you?
"Why do Earth and the other planets rotate at all? It will help to understand how our solar system formed. Almost five billion years ago, our solar system had its beginnings as a vast cloud of dust and gas. The cloud began to collapse, flattening into a giant disk that rotated faster and faster, just as an ice skater spins faster as she brings her arms in. The Sun formed at the center, and the swirling gas and dust in the rest of the spinning disk clumped together to produce the planets, moons, asteroids, and comets. The reason so many objects orbit the Sun in nearly the same plane (called the ecliptic) and in the same direction is that they all formed from this same disk."
The articles starts with this "In physics" That means present state earth are area laws. We see that in this area and assume all that spins in the universe or ever did obeys physics of this present nature on earth!!!! Good luck with that.Or maybe the conservation of angular momentum... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angular_momentum
Conservation of angular momentum.
Whcih I have already told you about, but you just ignore me...
That means little. Something had to be there to conserve. Little thingies smashing till they became a big cloud? (in your imaginary world)
Did little thingies smash to make this imaginary cloud?

The earth does not rotate.
You can either take God's word literally or you can try to mold it to the wisdom of the world.
Are you being serious? It's been known for centuries that the Earth rotates
I'll take "Observational tests that demonstrate that the earth rotates for $500 Alex"
Q: In 1851 this device was invented for the purposes of a simple proof and easy to see experiment that demonstrated that the earth rotates.
A: What is the Foucault Pendulum

So little particles started spinning. You know this because our physics applied then. You know the litle dust particles were on one side, because...well you need them to be. Nice fable sis. That spin can easily be started if the dust particles are not falling directly in to the center of gravity. If they are aimed slightly to one side, then it will set up a spin.
Chapter and verse? The earth does not rotate. You can either take God's word literally or ...
Face it there was smashing in your fable.Stop acting like a child will you?
Or you prove it did...or even does now out there! If you can prove that physics did not apply, go right ahead.
For sure...like your flatworm ancestry, magic dust that went round until we had planets--spinning the same way, a smash up derby with earth that resulted in 2 moons, one which conveniently disappeared. But we know it existed because...well, as always you just need it! Ever consider moving over to a rational belief in creation?Until then, we'll stick with what we know for sure takes place.
God changed things and will continue to change things. He is alive. He moves. He lives. Thankfully heaven will be different from this present world. Obviously Eden was also. Even the pre flood times and on up till the time of the flood and a little beyond was different to a large degree.
Science preaches a dead static godless lifeless universe. Total rubbish.
No. He does allow for ours though, and the laws of the universe are like television stations that can be changed as needed by Him who has the great clicker!Sounds like God is continually correcting His mistakes...
