No, the nature of the universe did not change one day. Although if one accepts Big Bang theory and a universe increasing in acceleration, I fail to see why all those who worship BB cosmology refuse to apply the postulates of Relativity to a universe they claim is continuing to increase in acceleration???? Is it or isn't it???

It's not that you can't know anything about the past - it is just you continue to refuse to apply the postulates of relativity to the question of the past - in a universe you claim is continuing to increase in acceleration. I find this quite interesting actually - how people want to claim they follow a theory but yet then ignore one of its major postulates.
