Is it normal for a guy to say he's really really interested in getting to know a girl he's only talked to for a few minutes if he finds her attractive? And say he'd do any and everything to be part of the picture with her after a phone conversation where he says he wants to get to know her better? Also, what are calling rules? Is it weird for a guy to say "Call me?" Shouldn't the guy be the one doing the calling if he's interested?

The Guy should NEVER be forced to do anything first. Anyone who thinks so has zero concern or compassion for male self esteem.

??

The girl calls the guy after the guy gives the girl his number. The guy later says, "Call me." But now isn't it the guy's role to pursue the girl? In every scenario where I have pursued a guy it has ended up being a complete & epic fail. So now I've simply come to the conclusion that the guys want to give chase to the girl. What do you say of this situation now with it worded this way?

If a guy were to tell me something like that, that quickly...after only knowing me a very short time, i'd wonder how many others he tosses that line out to. I wouldn't want to be pursued by a playah..and that is a sign of a playah.

No the love scammer alarms and 'just dumped and very desperate' alarms would go on immediately.

We want to chase you until you catch us.

At first, yes. It is usually up to the guy to do the chasing, but once you've developed a relationship (notice I didn't say after youre engaged), it is ok for the girl to call. Both parties have to show interest. If a guy does all the chasing and the girl shows no interest, he begins to feel used.

Hate the game, not the playah!

Ok yeah, that just made me feel creepy. :ahah:

The "we want to chase you until you catch us" I understand. I think that if a guy really wants to see a girl and wants to arrange time with her like a first date then he should be the one reaching out. Once there's some comfort established then calls can be initiated by either without much trouble. But from what I've seen and know, men think that a woman who will call him and show interest is absolutely desparate and they are quick to run. Smh. Lol but who need the ones who run anyways?

I don't. Every lady I have courted can testify to that. True. If a guy is that insecure/cowardly, you really don't need him.

I have pursued and it ended as badly for me. I believe both sexes have freewill and to expect more out of one(men) and less out of the other (women) is hypocritical not to mention disgusting. I want to be chased and there is NOTHING wrong with that!!! if I choose not to chase I must accept any loss, as anyone inactive must ALSO:aarh::blush1:

Although I like to play this game with the kids, playing them with a grown up man, no. So stupid. It is true. I showed interest and was way too enthousiastic. He was like: hmm hmm let's see oh okay no no rather not. Okay then not. So I move on and he gets very interested and starts to chase me. Wait I wasn't playing cool, I just wasn't interested anymore. Took him a long while to get me interested again and then he didn't want to marry but to shack up.
Nonsense. I hate chasing and I hate stupid games. I like how Derek Prince did it. Hey God said you're to be my wife. Yeah He told me that too. Okay. Settled.
