God is unusual. He can hover, as He did in creation week over the waters. He can fly low enough to guide you to a house. The issue is whether He has a usual obit circle. Since both the Christmas star and tge flying wheels of Ezekiel were seen in the same vicinity, itis reasonable to assume He does! Cometo think of it, Jesus went up in the clouds, possibly to that mobile saphire throne of God ship?! Again in the same area. He will fly bwck in there soon also.

God is unusual, so I in no way think of Him as limited to man's silly orbits.

The circle of the earth could refer to God's orbit. One interesting project for some bright light might be to trace His orbit path over earth and diagram it for us. We just need 2 points where God's star was seen. One was Nazereth, because that was where the house was Jesus lived that the star guided the wise men to. Another point was the river where Ezekiel was near when He saw it. Then we continue the line from these points all around the earth!

I actually find blind unbelief to be totally faith based. You need faith to believe in something other than Jesus creating the stars and world just as the bible teaches.

I am an old earth creationist- I believe the universe is ancient, and what science mistakes as evolution was simply God renewing animals as they died out. He cultivated the Earth by life, and will undo it with precisely the opposite.

However, the universe is gargantuan. It is so big, it will make you dizzy just realizing it's size- billions of light years, you see. Everything about the universe speaks 'ancient'- you don't need analytical reasoning to see that reality is more than 6000 years old.

We know the history of the ideas about the universe. They idea that the universe is ancient was not presupposed. What was presupposed was that the earth and stars and sun and planets go back to about 4000+ BC. Now we have learned better, but it is not presupposed, the knowledge of the size and age of the universe came in stages as we made more and more discoveries.
