So you are suggesting that you lived during the same time Jesus allegedly lived?

I'll ask again. Provide 1 contemporary source that confirms the claims of Jesus's life.

Of course you won't. It is the huge amount of evidence that is convincing, not a few quotes.
I´m wondering if "I have mountains of evidence but I won´t even start sharing it because you won´t believe me, anyway." sounds like a reliable statement anyone (including you).

You lived 2000 years ago, at the time that Jesus is claimed to have and when the dead bodies of saints were released from their graves and walked the streets?

I see......
Since we are discussing definitions. I don't think you know the meaning of Time.

(Hint: It's a verb, not a noun)

Oh, contraire...you are producing your own evidence this very moment. When you are done, you may step down.

That's au contraire.......if you are going to try to impress others by slipping foreign phrases into your arguments, try to get them right.

And I repeat, no credible evidence has ever been produced that testifies to the existence of your, or anyone else's, god.

I have an excellent understanding..

Jon indicated claimed events which took place 2000 years ago, contemporaneously with the claimed death of Jesus. He made the point that no contemporary observer made reference to those amazing events.

Yet, you claimed that you were such a witness to those events.

Might I suggest that you leave the bottle in the cupboard before contributing to these pages?

Would you like that to be your final answer in the testimony for you life's witness? For your life?

If you actually understood the times, you would know that I was indeed a witness then, just as I am now a witness to the same walking dead.

I understand the meaning of the word. This isn't English class though and you're avoiding the question.

Can you name one contemporary writing that confirm the claims of Jesus' life?

What does any of that mean? Why do I get the feeling that you are just filling the page with the first words that come to mind, rather than addressing the very uncomfortable questions being directed towards you?

I suppose the 'voices in your head' confirm all of this for you?

I will do one better. You can confirm it for yourself in post #651 (among others).

That is not a satisfactory answer as it does not address my question that I have asked three times. If you don't feel comfortable answering the question, just say so.

Huh?

I'm second to none here in stating:

Where the King James Bible differs with the originals, the originals are wrong.

So the people supposedly inspired by God to write in the original Hebrew and Greek were wrong? You're really stretching credibility here.

I am taking you serious, and answering seriously. It is you who should take what I am saying to heart.

Time is an illusion, and you have it backwards. You didn't just happen here with a choice of what you will and will not believe. You happened here, because this is YOUR time, your time to hit the ground and say Ya or Nay, in determining your own destiny. Whether it be thumbs up or thumbs down, doesn't matter to anyone but you. Do you want to stay within the confines of decay, or transcend to the next level?

I and these many witness, are just sharing our peek over the horizon. Take it or leave it. We've done our part.

Next.

I want to hear your opinions on why do you think atheism exists and its cause. I will tell mine only after I see yours.
Hard atheism, or soft atheism? I'd say that all non-humans qualify as soft atheists in that they aren't capable of imagining the concept of deities, so the question becomes this: Where along the line did our ancestors evolve to the point where they were capable of not being atheists?

Then someone actually had to come up with the idea, which probably started as vague concepts of supernatural forces acting through natural occurrences such as rain. These ideas would have become more complex and majestic over time, so it depends on what you count as a deity.

As for hard atheists, well, they're the people who have been exposed to these ideas and disagree with them.
