First of all you must understand that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, because no prophecy came by the impulse of man, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God (2 Peter 1:20). 1 Timothy 3:15 tells us that the pillar of truth is the Church. It is the Tradition of the Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that interprets the scriptures.

I never said it was my own private interpretation. I have researched it using the help of what other believers said and what God has shown me. But we are told in Scripture to study the Word to show ourselves approved unto God (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV). God reveals truth to his people. So yes, I believe I am not the only one who knows about these verses.

The Church is the elect; the communion of saints.

It is not Eastern Orthodoxy.

No, I do not support Calvinism. I am strongly against POTS or OSAS. However, neither do I believe in Works Salvationism, either. I believe God does the work in the believer after they surrendered their life to Him.

Nope. Tradition with a capital T is what guides the Church (and that by the Holy Spirit).

John 14:25-26 “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

The Holy Spirit guides the Church, especially when it comes to Holy Tradition.

I don't see any reference within John 14 to Holy Tradition. You're inserting your own interpretation.

Sin is separation from GOD. Not sure how you can read the Bible and not understand that fact clearly taught in Scripture. Adam and Eve were separated from God because of their sin (Whereby they needed a Savior). What makes you any different? Do we worship and abide with a different God than the One in the Old Testament? No. All the saints (Both in the Old and in the New) are born again, justified by faith in the same GOD who exists thru out all time. If a person sins, they need to repent and get their heart right with the LORD. It's why David had confessed his sin and said not for God to take His Holy Spirit from him. It's why Peter told Simon to repent (even though he appeared to accept the gospel).

Actually I see pagan elements in this photo and his hand gesture is of the new age, as well.

Here is another photo of Jesus that is similar.

Notice the circle like sun behind the head that is common in many of these types of images of Jesus.

Also, notice the hand gesture of the picture of Jesus I had shown. Here is a similar hand gesture in this new age Buddah statue.

You apparently belong to the same school of distorted thought as Alexander Hislop. He made the claim that because there were similarities between pagan beliefs and imagery and what he didn't agree with in Catholicism, that the latter was derived from the former, despite there being absolutely no connection apart from looking or sounding similar. The other issue with his claim was that if true, it was equally damning of the core truths of Christianity, since the death and resurrection of a son of god appears in pagan beliefs too.

Icons are theology in colour and are able to teach important truth to the illiterate and literate alike.

Besides, it is not a coincidence that there is a sun symbol behind his head like that in pagan art.

The disc of light surrounding His head is a symbol of the uncreated light, God's divine energy radiating from His physical body. You might remember reading about this in the gospels when Jesus took Peter, James and John up on Mt Tabor.

It is also not a coincidence that he is making a hand gesture appears in other artworks that match up with new age work, as well.

By definition, "new age" art work would later than Christian art work, so they would be copying Christian art, not vice versa. I would also be very surprised to find their fingers forming the letters ICXC which stands for IHCOYC XΡICTOC
