Actually dad, I think that's the 1st rule they teach kids in astronomy classes today. It applies not only to black holes, but also to dark matter, dark energy, expanding space, and inflation. As long as it's unfalsifiable in the lab, you're good to go, and you're an instant genius.

Seems to me like evolution is converging with climate change, the heliocentric model verses the geocentric model, the hoax (or not) of the moon shots, flat earth vs the globe model, operation "paper clip", "high jump", then firing nukes into the atmosphere and operation "fish bowl".

I don't know if it's just me but there is a buzz about what we know and don't know to be true.

It's nothing more than a hypothesis, and you disagree with it. Your point? There is nowhere in the article that Stephen Hawking even implies "This is what would happen."
