The Flood destroyed Adam's world, not the present Earth. The Ark arrived in Lake Van, Turkey 10-12k years ago and brought the FIRST Humans to our Planet.

The evidence is in the Blood of ALL Humans (descendants of Adam). Our DNA and ERVs are from the common ancestor of Apes...AND...we have the unique intelligence of Adam, which is ABOVE every other Creature and also like God's intelligence Gen 3:22 with the ability to know both good and evil, which NO animal does.

For 99% of the time since the sons of God (prehistoric people) diverged from Chimps, the sons of God roamed this Earth like ANY other animal. They never planted a crop, built a house, nor showed ANY other modern Human traits. SUDDENLY, exactly where and when the Ark arrived, FARMING began. Gen 9:20

In less than 1% of the time since prehistoric people diverged from Chimps, Humans (descendants of Adam) have gone to the Moon and back Safely. The all knowing scientists who have REJECTED God's Truth of the Flood CANNOT explain. Can you? IF prehistoric people were Human, then WHY did they wait Millions of years to show any evidence of it?

I find this quite amusing. In the one sentence, you concede that the analysis of CO2 levels is technical and is the work of specialists. In the next, you blithely dismiss that analysis, simply because it doesn't fit your beliefs.

This is the grouping together of similar ideas together and not in chronological order. Most people read Genesis chapter one from a step logic perspective or chronological, rather than from the block logic so prevalent in Hebrew poetry.

or maybe you did not get my line of thought. Amusing? I do not feel good being called amusing when I try to be serious. But maybe that is just a remainder of selfish pride that needs to go away.... clip clip ....
First off, oxygen and CO2 is not the same chemical or isotope.
Second, I was hypothesising what would the cores show in case they were able to show an atmosphere with low CO2 right after the flood. I do not feel convinced by the counterarguments presented, but maybe that is because I do not buy the framework of understanding. I believed that any icecore showing that period of low CO2, that would be detectable only at the very bottom of the icecore, right above solid ground or whatever that would be.

Correct. I live in a country (Australia) wherein the indigenous peoples have a measured history of at least 40,000 years. His argument is pure fantasy, but then, this is a person who has stated more than once that "evidence can take a hike" when it disagrees with his preferred beliefs. Why not? We can recognize flooding events that are way older in the geologic column. The flooding of what later became the rockies in the late cretaceous, for example, was some 65 million years ago, and we can find evidence of it.

When Mount St helen erupted, it created a large canyon by the flooding caused by the eruption, the scientist realized that it is possible that a major flood could make a major geological formation that we take for granted now.

The canyon left by the Mount St. Helen eruption was distinctly different from the grand canyon. We know that floods can carve channels fairly rapidly; however, these channels tend to be relatively shallow and very straight. The grand canyon, on the other hand, is not straight. This is pretty much a sure-fire sign that it is not carved by a flood, as rushing floodwater probably wouldn't take quite so many hairpin turns!
