Indeed. Good part of a diet, always

That's something I only enjoy eating once in a while. Generally I find them disgusting.

However, you did recommend ketchup and relish, which is the best combo.

You are making a biological argument that isn't actually based on science. It is a neurological fact that humans have portions of their brain that are active during moral deliberations that other mammals do not have. How did those get there?

We don't know. Science can't see into the past. Only in Science fiction movies.

Just mustard is best. Sometimes sauerkraut.

I have never developed a taste for mustard. I doubt I will for sauerkraut either.

If I'm in the mood, though, I will add jalapenos instead of relish and hot sauce instead of ketchup

To say definitively there are no gods one would have to know everything.

There are no square circles. Granted, those terms are well defined. No one knows what the heck gods are supposed to be or do, so that does add the the problem.

Also, in common usage people say there's no Santa. That's not a claim of omnipotence, just a shortcut for "given everything I know the possibility is vanishingly small". No one gets on their case about that claim, but for some reason the rules for gods are different.

Ah, but when was the last time you ate a kitten? If you miss the regular kitten BBQ's how can you expect to maintain your strength enough to rape and pillage?

I would never eat a kitten. The puppies would return from the dead and tear me to pieces. (The puppies took it very badly if anything messed withy their cats).

My point is Evolution. Animals kill other animals for territory, rape their females. The strong crush the weak, which helps the species improve.
Most other animals don't need each other to survive as much as we do. Baby turtles crawl into the ocean and do fine by themselves. Try that with a human baby and see what happens.

It is my belief that the morality of an atheist is more sincere and of more value than that of a religious person.

The reason I feel this way is that whenever an atheist does a good deed or fails to do an evil one, he does so by choice without fear of any unearthly consequence or reward whatsoever. So his actions are a true testament to his character. What you see is what you get.

However, when a religious person does a good deed or fails to do an evil one, his primary influence is based on his perception of what he thinks an all powerful god wants him to do. Similarly, fear of retribution from that all powerful god is another motivating factor guiding his actions. So his actions are NOT a true testament to his character. What you see may or may not be what you get in regards to the true character of said person.

Or put another way, if an adult hovers over a child you will observe one set of behaviors (group #1). However, if said child believes he isn't being watched and you observe him with hidden cameras you will see his "true" character (group #2). It is my belief that for the most part, religious types are group #1 whereas atheists are group #2.

Ewgh. I never even like the smell of kraut much less the taste. Just my opinion. But Chili dogs are great.

My tastes have changed living in Milwaukee.

Just fine. I saw you hear and was going to ask you. I think someone peed in the punch bowl over there.

Well here is less aggressive I assure you. All you have worry about here is circular arguments and language you use.

What's there to talk about here?

Tons. There's far more interesting stuff here. Which is why you can see I have over ten times as many posts here. I go to AF mostly to be snarky and discuss real political issues that don't need a religious slant messing it up.
