If they can't come about through random mutations and natural selection, then they can't evolve. You are saying that random mutations can not do it, that it takes an intelligence to purposefully mutate the genome. That is not evolution.

I would falsify the hypothesis.

Organismic Evolution is a fact.
there is no such thing as macroevolution as such. It is organismic or micro evolution
viewed under a different time scale.
Natural Selection (with genetic drift) is a very very good theory,
never been usurped. It is measured as a straight line on a graph, linear
scale in terminal base pair mutations per million codons per million years.
Evolution thus has a inbuilt molecular clock.
So science can not only tell what came from what but also WHEN.

Cultural evolution is faster (exponential)and involves brains helping to evolve bigger brainsl.
