• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Christians are not commanded to observe the seventh day.

Who argues He did?

The Sabbath absolutely CHANGED --- WAS changed once forever!

"the DAY The Seventh Day Sabbath OF THE THE LORD GOD" NEVER!

The image was not posted by me, it was in a quote. I just wanted to set that matter straight.

Why not do both? Have both the sabbath and the Lord's day

I too enjoy both. On the same day, "the day The Seventh Day Sabbath OF THE LORD (my) GOD".

Because that's the Lord's Day He ROSE from the dead on ---The Seventh Day God RESTED ---rested IN CHRIST ---rested in Christ IN RESURRECTION from the grave and death and realm of the dead.

That’s why it’s “the LORD’S Day” He triumphed in "Lordly"[*], and I therefore believe in.

[*'lordly day' --- 'kuriakeh (Adjective) hehmera'.

Do you realize what you're saying?

I asked you, Are you one of them, the Israel of God? and you say, <Nope>?!
Bet he bases his statement on Gal 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

What did God say? Are we grafted into the Jewish vine? If so then does God change? Doing what He commanded is not an option

I don't see any verses in your reply. Nothing about christians being commanded to keep the seventh day.

Yes, there is no commandment. All there is in Genesis where it speaks of the Sabbath, is God's infinite grace and mercy and forgiveness and providence; just his blessing and electing and perfecting AND REST IN CHRIST. And therefore his POWER AND TRIUMPH AND LORDSHIP.

...WHICH things are the DEMANDING factor about the Sabbath in Genesis. Who asked for and who insist and demand, a commandment in the presence and working of the goodness of God?!

O Lord, in view of your holy workings out of your Eternal Purpose unto the Gospel of Jesus Christ your Son your Lamb slain from the foundation of the world for the sins of your own People, keep me quiet.

For if Jesus gave them Your Rest then, there therefore for the People of God still remains and still beckons their SABBATHS' FEAST OF CHRIST.

When God made the earth what did He do on the seventh day If you say that they did not know of this then explain how Cain and Able sacrificed before the Law? Or Abraham tithed before the Law?

God rested on the seventh day of creation. He didn't command Adam and Eve to do so.
