A small and pretty tattoo, don't see the problem. But there are people who goes too far.
How do you quantify it? Its not wrong if its tiny but big o no. I don't get it.

Everything in moderation, I guess.
I'm not a fan of big tattoos that cover one's arms, say, or one that covers the back. But I don't think that means they're wrong.

I have no regrets about getting it. At the time I was struggling with my faith and it helped solidify it. Now God uses it as a tool for His glory along with everything I have overcome in my life. I am a walking testament of God's love, Grace, forgiveness and glory.
I don't know if they are wrong, but what a waste.
Sounds like as an appreciator of tattoos, you would have at least a certain amount of flair in their design.Waste of what, exactly?
Some of my favorite tattoos that my friends have are ones they designed themselves. If I had HALF their creativity I'd be a rich woman.
YoureMyBeloved: Yes, there is some amazing artwork out there. Many Christians find a faith based tattoo to be effective in personal witness.
Are there many parlors in your area?

Yes, we have some, but not near my house.
So what's it like there in Portugal? do some of your friends use tattoo parlors?
Did it look good? or maybe you think that tattoos like hers are more suitable for men?None of my friends use tattoos, though many years ago some of us we went to the capital and tried temporary tattoos(made with a kind of pen); it vanished in one week.
Recently I met a girl who had a big tattoo over her chest and her arm.

Honestly, I didn't like it, but I know many woman use it, seeing pics...

I do like the cross one...although I would definitely do a Celtic Cross.
I'm actually a pianist who taught myself how to play the organ. Have been mulling taking lessons but just don't have the time nor the money!
I'm against tattoos that are not good art. But there are plenty of amazingly good tattoo artists in the Seattle area. The ones who can do the kind of work I'd want are very expensive, and I can't afford them. That's why I don't have any.
Hi Ms Izdaari: So you think that a well done faith based tattoo is a legit. means of witness?
My wife and I talked to a young lady with John 3.16 inked in full on her wrist area: it was her favorite verse and mine.
You would want the Bible verse, etc to be in a good style of calligraphy, then? and not just simple letters?Yeah, I could do something like that. I think it could be a very good witness. But I'd want people to go "ooh, wow, that's amazing!" at the quality of the art as well as the message. Probably just vanity, but it's how I feel about it.
