I thought I said "Trinity"?

Rapture is derived from the latin word for "caught up".

Good for Latin -- I'm English.

The 24 hours a day is NOT biblical....it is a man made concept.

Which term is confusing to you? "24 hours" or "day"?

"Day", as you know, is in the Bible.

If you're claiming it takes 24 hours for the sun to go around the earth, then science [correctly] says otherwise.

You are playing word games. As I said many posts ago, Trinity is a man made term for the Godhead. It means the same thing, it is biblical.

The bible does not say there are 24 hours in a day. It says the earth is fixed. There was evening and morning before the sun, the moon, and the stars were created. There was evening and morning before the earth had form and was no longer void.

1 Chronicles 16:30:
Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

Psalm 93:1:
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Genesis 1:5:
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Genesis 1:14:
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Revelation 6:13
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

You can go ahead and keep adding to God's word and conforming it to man's opinion. I will trust the bible instead of man's wisdom.

If the moon produces its own light then how do you account for the phases of the moon?

Firstly, God says the earth is fixed so it cannot be rotating. I take the biblical point of view first. If the science contradicts, I still go with God's word.

How do we know if it is actually rotating? There are only simple experiments which their results can be explained in several ways. <snip>

Well I believe Earth rotates, I live in Australia, so I predict if I point my camera South, take a long exposure, I can capture the stars seemingly rotating around a center point.

The South Celestial pole.

Guess what, that is exactly what I did here.

Can you explain the result of this simple experiment from your perspective?

Well, obviously the lights in the firmament rotate. Not the other way around. Your experiment better supports flat earth than a revolving rotating going out of balance round earth.

The rapture and trinity are both in the bible, the Godhead and the second coming of Jesus Christ. Man has decided to call it a different name.

The 24 hours on the other hand is NOT in the bible. You know this is true, stop lieing (sorry to be harsh) and stop trying to add to God's word.

Then what does "and the evening and the morning were the first day" mean to you? 2 minutes? 10 hours? 102 hours? 900 hours? 8,562 hours?

How many calendars are there?!?!?!? The number of hours in a day can be pegged to anything!

The Romans used 12 hours of day light and 12 hours of darkness. What about places that see day light for only a couple of hours.

You are adding your own opinion when you say the biblical day is 24 hours. The word of God does not say that. When you take the entire bible, you will see it is not rotating, non revolving earth.

Was God standing in Alaska or Rome when he stated "and the evening and the morning were the first day"?

First part, God created light and divided it from the darkness. Where was the darkness? In the deep waters. Go to the middle of the ocean at night, it is pitch black. God simply created light and divided it from the darkness. The earth had no form and was void at this point.

Second part, he divided the day from the night by placing lights in firmament. This was AFTER the earth had form and was no longer void.

He did not divide the same thing twice!!!!

God could've done nothing on the first day, the evening and morning would've still come. If you look at each day, God tell us the evening and the morning were the X day. The evening and morning happened independent of what God did. God just chose to create light on the first day, and the sun/moon/stars on the fourth day.

-_- so you either do not believe the earth currently moves in space, or you think it started up at some point

Any wording pointing to the world being stable is certainly trying to point to the ground under your feet being stable and unmoving not the entire planet.

And anyway, even this meaning is flawed as earthquakes clearly result in an earth that is certainly not stable or unmoving.

So tell me this, if the earth is revolving the sun, how are all the stars going to fall into the earth like it said in Revelation???

When god said the world is established and cannot be moved.....I believe it. Anything else is man's opinion. Let God be true and every man a liar.

Verse after verse after verse supports a flat earth. Modern bible believers lean on science and man's wisdom instead of studying God's word and taking root. They are ashamed of the bible and try to add their "explanations" to change God's word to be "scientifically accurate".

Well, I guess if the creator of everything says that it's evening, it's evening, case closed.

Besides, it's evening all the time on a round earth somewhere, so there can only be ONE evening when the earth is flat. (Or, rather, two evenings, one for each side of the pizza)

Perhaps Revelation is refering to metaphorical falling stars ie meteors...? Or perhaps Revelation is just wrong...?

Why? Who says that the bible is the word of god?

Verse after verse after verse supports a flat earth. Modern bible believers lean on science and man's wisdom instead of studying God's word and taking root. They are ashamed of the bible and try to add their "explanations" to change God's word to be "scientifically accurate".

Perhaps because modern believers have realised that the Bible is not the literal word of god but was written by man 2,000 years ago and is therefore subject to error.

You got that one wrong. Morse doesn't care for the 2000 year old edition, but only for the KJV.

...

The people who wrote the bible clearly didn't understand that stars were more than tiny little lights shining in the sky.

They had probably seen, or heard of, a meteor shower and it scared them to death. Now imagine the terror if every little light fell at once.
