The Royal law is the moral law and is not a ceremonial law as it is not handwritten of man but by the finger of God in stone.

Remember, don't forget, the first 4 are given to God first of Himself revealing for one thing His right as the Great Sovereign one. Ex 20:11

The moral, ethical is revealed to God by the first 4 parts, REVERANCE, of it and the last 6 the moral and ethical to our fellow man.

The handwritten ordinances was not the Royal law as it was written of God's own finger in stone.

The handwritten ones were the ones that Moses copied out about the laws and ordinances of sacrifices that pointe to Christ the True Lamb of God.

Heb 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

We are not to continue in sin as He in you is His power to overcome it and we have no excuse to continue.

I note that many are thinking that the new covenant took away the moral or royal law of the 10 commandments and that would be impossible. It is the law of love and given to us as a guide to do the love to Him and then to our fellow man as is His due from us and then our due to our fellow man from us.

It is as eternal as He is eternal as He is the Proven Epitome of Love and so requires we also be filled by beholding Him and His Great sacrifice and price He has paid to redeem us from the curse of the law which is death.

The test of our love is, do we do the 10 statutes of love? That is all it takes to fulfill them as it is but the service of the heart of love.

Jesus hated sin and so we must come to do and He loved righteousness and so we must come to do and we know it is easy to do the thing we love but hard to do the thing we hate!

We really should come to the place with Him as He stated, "the evil one hath nothing in me."

So I ask all, is not the keeping of the Holy Day of our Almighty God an utmost statue He desires us to keep? Why? Because it is His due as the Creator and righteous and just God of Love! Happily it should be of us to render those first four to Him!

I must testify it is my desire and pleasure to do so. I love Him first and best and above all!

Well, I do believe that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah, and that He is God the Son.
I also believe that He is the promise given to Abraham...that through Him all the nations of the world have been blessed.
I also believe that the entire Word of God, both Old and New Testaments...and maybe some other scriptures that got left out of our canon...are divinely inspired scripture.

But I don't think I'd fit in with "MJs"...

Did anyone here know the reason God said to circumcise on the eighth day?

Circumcision may not be a requirement any longer, but it is still cleaner and healthier...and a circumcised man definitely smells better. I am not sorry that my sons were circumcised, although I didn't request it for religious reasons, but because the doctor recommended it.

Oh, and btw, those ancient people wouldn't have known it...but I read somewhere that it isn't until the eighth day that the new babies blood will coagulate as it should.

You know there is a difference between "circumcision" and "circumcision on the 8th day". Pharisee Shaul makes it his business to let you know that he has been circumcised according the custom of Moses. The religious leaders also claimed that you had to become circumcised "according to the law" in order to be saved!

With the intention that though the law was life...Jews who had not accepted Yeshua still looked heard and understood Moses through a veil...and since Jesus had taken that veil away if you left him behind and went to the Jews to teach you Gods word(the law) then the fulfilling of that law in Christ was not available....
As to the idea that God did away with part of his word...fulfill does not mean take away...but we must see it without the veil and trust God to live it through us....
I am by no means a scholar but still give me a law that is done away and I am sure I can find its fulness in NT.

Abraham was uncircumcised when he built the L-rd's altar.

Even fleshly circumcision is done in secret, it is done on the male private. Phairsee Shaul circumcised Timothy in secret.
