Quotes as well as actions. Would it be different if the quote came from the Bible? Christian beliefs are Christian beliefs. Do any of you consider yourselves sinners because you hate atheists? I doubt it.



"The Bible says so" still means "God says so". You're saying there is no reason for a non-Christian to be moral. That is the Christian position.

I did not say any of those things that you're implying. And neither have the majority of posters here in this thread.

So. Back to the topic and this time don't twist what people are saying on this thread. It doesn't add to the discussion and it won't help you explore Christianity any.

You are not here asking questions about Christianity but accusing people of hating atheists. I'm a former atheist and I specifically explained how I don't hate atheists and neither does the Lord. You gave me a ration of nonsense and quoted another poster, explaining HOW ALL CHRISTIANS think this way.
So your either a child and don't understand whats being said to you or you enjoy being a victim or you're trying to make Christians look intolerant.
In any of those cases, your posts are not about Christianity, they are about individuals. Your posts are making it a personal issue about 'poor you' or you're playing games bc of another poster. One way or the other, it's not constructive.

Ask a question. Go ahead ask why we believe in God, or a Creator. That would at least be exploring Christianity. You might as well learn something while your here.

You haven't stated Christian beliefs. You've stated some beliefs of some Christians.

So, once again, let's get back to your OP about morals and then we will explore what Christians believe according to scriptures because that's where we go to know what God says. And that's the point of this forum, to explore Christianity...not from what some people might have an opinion on, but instead what God states in His Word.

Lots of reasons, mostly that I find the concept unbelievable. But that's not important.

Hello. It was myself who made the above quote in a Formal Debate I was having with someone. I maintain its accuracy and besides scientific studies that put professed Atheists at a lower level of morals and ethics...it is common sense that the atheist ideology of Moral Relativism is for the expressed purpose of One calling his own shots when it comes determining if he/she desires to engage in an immoral lifestyle. Atheism offers a subjective moral system that is based on human experience, human conditions, and human reason: The Failure of Atheism to Account for Morality | Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry .This conclusion isn't just mine, but it is clearly stated in The Bible of people who are not reconciled to God (viz. Unbelievers) .

Perhaps some Christians don't agree with this reality, but, that is their prerogative ; I go according to what the Bible says and what the reality of our American Culture clearly demonstrates. I might add that there are a good many 'professed Christians' who are liberally minded today that they readily adopt the Cultural norm when it comes to popular lifestyles that are immoral.

I think there may be a slight credibility problem on your part.

Not all atheists are immoral but obviously some have a problem representing the truth when it stares them in the face.

So why are you really here? Your an atheist, do you believe in morals? Do you believe lying is wrong or misrepresenting others is wrong? or is it okay if they are Christians?

I don't agree with him. He has a right to his opinion and he presented it well. Acknowledging that not everyone was going to agree with him. Although I would agree as far as an atheistic society is concerned, not as individuals. I also have strong opinions about any religion mixing with politics. I consider atheism, a religion.

I'm not here to present your arguments. You are.
