I like the Greek gods personally. They were very realistic in how an immortal being would view humans and other things which have limited life spans. Their personalities are believable.

Your problem seems to be with what is clearly related in the bible. We all can chose what to believe, but we will belief something. We stand responsible for what we chose to believe.

Easy peasy. We chose to believe Jesus..or not. That is the choice. The other gods are spare parts.
