According to some documentary films I've seen (god love Netflix) early in his life, he wasn't particularly anti-Semitic, and in fact had a few Jewish friends during the time period in which he was a struggling artist. Any German gains would not have lasted. At the 1943 Casablanca conference, the Allies agreed that the only outcome of the war would be the Axis's unconditional surrender. I have no doubt that Truman would have used the atomic bomb against Germany if the Nazis were winning in any manner. As we know now, the Germans were very far from developing their own bomb, and they faced a huge obstacle. Hitler didn't think nuclear physics was valid, since so many scientists in the field were Jewish.

Can't find a source. Source was teacher 20 years ago. They had a look alike Hitler drive around in a Nazi looking car with Hitler in uniform waving at people. Old people in Germany came out and cheered his return. Something about give he the children. Think Jesus and Hitler said that.
