And scientists conclude from the fossil evidence that life on earth has changed over time, i.e. evolution is a fact.

The peers that scientists want to be used are scientists who understand the topic at hand. There is a reason that creationists avoid real peer review. If you submit a paper with errors in it your errors will be identified and you will be told to fix them before they will publish your paper. The various creationist "peer review journals" do not seem to do that.

First off Flood waters do not sort sediments in the manner that appear in the fossil record.

The earliest geologists were creationists looking for evidence for Noah's Flood. They found that was not the case. The idea of a Flood was debunked long before Darwin came along.

I don't think that the leap year is NECESSARY due to an action of Pope Gregory.

He may have introduced it. But he was not the cause of it.

Thanks, but connotations are based on context, which in this case is DAY and EVENING. When God rested, He didn't take up creation again. That story is over so I think telling us six times what a day was should be good enough for anyone.

Today is the 6th Creative Day and God will NOT rest until His Creation of the perfect Heaven is finished or Brought to Perfection. This will NOT happen until the Prophecy of Genesis 1:28-31 is fulfilled, and this will NOT happern until AFTER Jesus returns to rule and reign on this Earth, for a thousand years, at the end of time. That's God's Truth.

What is the basis for your conjecture here. How many world wide floods have been studied?

Gen 1:28-31 is NOT a prophecy, it is a historical narrative, inspired by God through Moses. It is what HAPPENED, not what WILL happen.
