CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Question: What are the moral implications of the gentleman being a democrat if God created him knowing he was going to be that way?
In your scenario the gentleman had self determination before someone stole it from him, how about if he never had any?

It seems to all around actually.
Donald couldn't choose otherwise yet he is accountable for choosing democrat. PAP as a concept is nill considering the example.
Donald being democrat is still meaningful as that is what he desires to be. That is what God foreknows - our desires, and our desires are surely not illusory.

My understanding is that because of Gods foreknowledge we are rpedestined. We have free will and can choose differently but because God has foreknowledge of the choices we will make we are predestined.

Because he wasn't interfered with. You have to account for a God that knew Donald would do what he did before he ever began to exist.
If all of our desires and choices are known before we exist then we don't put anything into the equation or have any choice in the matter and thus have no morality.

Feeling like you have a choice or that you make your own decisions doesn't make that choice real.
In the scenario where God does know what color shirt I am going to ware tomorrow since before I was born then I only imagine that I can freely choose between my shirts.
