1. Nothing is impossible with god
2. It's impossible for god to lie

How is it logical that both of these statements are true?

1. God can do what He wants, How He wants and When He wants, nothing is impossible for Him.
2. God is not a liar. There isn't even a possibility for Him to lie, it is against His nature.

I think someone needs a course in Bible paradoxes.

There are many.

Such as:

2 Corinthians 12:10b ... for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Matthew 19:30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Those are literary devices meant to demonstrate a philosophical idea...like it takes a strong man to admit when he is wrong (weak)...in other words humility is a virtue.

Your welcome to explain to me the meaning of my example, if you like. But I doubt it would mean much, since I'm sure you believe both my statements are literally true.

So, God doesn't lie. God is incapable of lying. God cannot lie. What do you call this:

Genesis 22:2 Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

Was that an honest, truthful order? Did Isaac die?

As the story follows, God says this:

Genesis 22:12 “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”

What is that supposed to mean? "Now I know"? Really? Doesn't God know everything? You mean he didn't know Abraham would do that before he asked?

All you are doing is REPEATING THE PARADOX in different words. You are not addressing the paradox at all.

Why can't you just admit that faith trumps logic?

The trouble is that it really doesn't matter what the reason is that god cannot lie; you can roll out any justification you like for his inability to lie and it will be utterly and totally irrelevant. If he cannot lie then he is not omnipotent. There is nothing else to say.

Actually, the problems with omniscience are much worse in my opinion.

It was just a test my friend, God uses tests to shape us, to make us stronger like gold. And to test our trust and obedience to Him.

That was not the question. I don't want to know what the test was or why there was a test. It is irrelevant. All I want to know is if God really wanted Abraham to kill his son when he gave the order.

You didn't answer the second part of the question, if God knows everything why does he need to test anyone? And when he does the test, why does he finish it with "Now I know" if he knew it before?

2cor 12:10 isn't a paradox its accepting in humility we need the Holy Spirit and just cannot overcome in our own strength.

It is the Word of God, Jesus is the Word that came down as flesh to die.

I know the Bible is correct because it is the very words of God.

It is a long answer to give.

Prophecies are accurate and fulfilled.

Throughout history people continously try to discredit and ruin the Bible.

If Jesus is the Word, then Jesus is perfect and without error. So His words are perfect and without error.

Why did God, in all of his benevolent good truthful nature create Satan?

He created cherub angels, Gabriel, Micheal, and Lucifer. They were the highest ranking angels. He created them to do His work and to run business in Heaven. He gave angels free will and emotions, just like humans.

Lucifer in all his power and beauty thought that he could be better than God. His beauty and power were his downfall, a seed of Pride grew in his heart.
