Lol. YOU'RE feeling frustrated? Imagine how I feel simply getting reiteration after reiteration of the paradox I've asked you to explain. The bold is just a rewording of the paradox, not an explanation of it.

You're doing worse than juve.

We are trying to define omnipotent here. Omnipotent God. Not Satan.

Do you get that here? Omnipotent and lying or being sinful or being wicked do not go in the same definition. Do you understand?

That was not the question. I don't want to know what the test was or why there was a test. It is irrelevant. All I want to know is if God really wanted Abraham to kill his son when he gave the order.

You didn't answer the second part of the question, if God knows everything why does he need to test anyone? And when he does the test, why does he finish it with "Now I know" if he knew it before?

Of course He didn't, but did Abraham know that?

Good question, I think it needs to be answered in the theology section.

It is for our benefit, because we have free will to choose. God knows the outcome, but we do not. WE need to choose for ourselves and to be made stronger and this is the way God tests His followers.

I do not have all the answers. Why don't you ask this in the theology sections, I'm sure they have better answers. It is a hard concept to grasp.

No we aren't. Please do pay attention. I asked you how its logical for nothing to be impossible for god, when lying is clearly not nothing, and is impossible for god.

Do you get that here? Omnipotent and lying or being sinful or being wicked do not go in the same definition. Do you understand?

Wrong! Omni means ALL. It's kind of the point. Why do you get to exclude anything from OMNI?

Lol, to fellowship with Him, beyond that I don't know...

But you just said 'to run business in Heaven'.

What business needs running in Heaven? Why would God create beings to do things he can surely do without any effort on his part?

Why does God desire fellowship in the first place?

They won't have answers either. Not real answers. That's because there aren't any. Not really. Well, there are, but they demand the assumption that the bible was written by men and is a flawed document. Then everything slots beautifully into place.

How do you know what God's intentions were?

Other verses throughout the Bible give clues to the way God works and reading farther into this passage about Abraham God says that because you fear me and obeyed me, you will increase and multiply (offspring). He blessed Abraham for listening and obeying.

I don't believe that. I mean men did write the Bible, but God inspired it.

It is the Word of God, Jesus is the Word that came down as flesh to die.

I know the Bible is correct because it is the very words of God.

It is a long answer to give.

Prophecies are accurate and fulfilled.

Throughout history people continously try to discredit and ruin the Bible.

If Jesus is the Word, then Jesus is perfect and without error. So His words are perfect and without error.

Prophecies have been debunked.

How do you know the bible is the word of God?

Sending messages, playing music, building houses, palaces, fighting a war against evil and Satan, bringing our thoughts and pleas and cries to God (the angels do that) helping humans, protecting us, etc.

Because God is love and He loves His creation and wants to enjoy it.

And that assumption is going to give you a whole lot of headaches trying to explain absurdities in the bible that christians have had to spend two millennia inventing excuses for. The result of this 2000 year effort has been one of the greatest collections of nonsense in history.

Because they are His words. His very words revealed to man to write them down on paper.

Once you determine a Truth in this world, you can rely on it completely with no fear that it is not true.

It is 100 percent true or its not, no exceptions.

These are all things God is capable of doing with no effort on his part. Why angels?

Because God is love and He loves His creation and wants to enjoy it.

How is fellowship integral to that?

How do you know you are right about assuming God's nature?

We don't. But, as we do it, then there will be consequences of the assumptions. And we also have worldly experience. Put all these together, we may figure it out.

However, there is no guarantee that we will do it correctly. That is why we ended up with different religions. Each of them has their own internally consistent system. None of them is easy to understand.

You don't know they are God's words, you want to think they are (based on faith), but you have no objective evidence (no one does) to show they are God's words or he even inspired the book.

So, you choose to deny mountains of evidence that is verifiable through science, but you accept incredible claims (with no objective evidence to support) from a book written by unknown men, 2000 years ago?

I can only imagine, the turmoil that goes on inside one's head, to try and reconcile this thought process each and every day.
