All it takes is a few bad eggs in public office to pervert righteous judgment, to override the voice of the voters, and also override the states constitution as seen here.

Virginia voters did approve the same-sex marriage ban 57 percent to 43 percent back in 2006. However, I'm not sure that the actions of the AG are designed to "override the voice of the voters;" recent polls show that today 50percent of registered Virginia voters support same-sex marriage, while 43 percent oppose it. In other words if the same vote were held today it would not pass.

Polls can be bias, either way, even if the majority does not agree with the words of God, it still does make the majority right does it?

But what we are seeing is a few judges, including the Supreme court judges, federal judges and state attorney generals all overriding what the voters had already decided into law, which is also preexisting law of certain states constitutions.

So what happened to a government by the people, and for the people, if the voice and choices of the people, including the laws they have already voted on and established into law (based on good Bible based morals) is just cast aside to further a corrupt governments ungodly agenda?

When a government thinks it can do as it pleases, above and beyond the wishes of the people, even putting it's ideals, morals, and laws above that of Almighty Gods, then people ought to be concerned.

Firstly, you can't know that so that is simply your personal opinion on the matter.

Secondly, your response is double talk. First you say the voters did approve the ban, the voters! Then you say you're not sure the actions of the AG are designed to override the voice of those who voted!
Then you cite a poll when polls aren't reliable as an unbiased source for any public opinion survey. They are all slanted by those invested in sponsoring the poll.

Yeah my guess would be their is either money influencing these judges decisions, or perhaps even their own personal relationships with others, like family, friends, business persons who might also be gay. But there is also a deeper spiritual issue at work here as well, which will eventually lead to the war against the Lamb and the remnant of His seed who have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Well persecutions of christians who speak out against this corrupt system will be next on their agenda, as I'm sure hate speech laws are on there way.

And yes, there is a big decline in strait marriages as well, which is also a sign of the times we're living in today, as sex outside of marriage is also a sin called fornication.

There's a rich homosexual bunch in Britain that was hoping to sue the Church of England because they couldn't get married there. Then the CoE ended up altering its pov on homosexual marriage though it didn't concede to marry homosexuals.

I have no doubt the gay hate groups in this country are watching what's transpiring there just to see what tactics they can employ against churches here.

When the state can refuse to issue a marriage license to applicants for certain reasons, it strikes an odd cord that a court would claim marriage, which isn't a Constitutional right, is a civil right under the 14th amendment.

I think its only going to get worse as the worst common denominator comes out of the woodwork and demands the right to exhibit itself in public and have government funded rights.

Money has a lot to do with it I'm sure. The case in Great Britain of the rich homosexuals pressuring CoE shows that it is imagined there that money will make a difference in a churches official position.



When Obama has decided to send a gay U.S Delegation to Sochi and due to Russians ban on gay propaganda, there's something more going on besides gay hate groups terrorizing individuals and businesses and threatening law suits.
If U.S homosexuals are arrested in Russia for their behavior it'll spark an international incident. And that could be what Obama is hoping for.
After all, in the summer Olympics athletes at Olympic village arrived at their rooms finding boxes of condoms in their room. Implying the obvious.

In the case of Sochi we can presume the same will occur there too. This issue is really strange when homosexuals are being given such attention unlike anything we've seen before.
Never in the history of the Olympics has America sent a homosexual delegation, picked expressly because the members are gay, to represent America. And to a country that basically outlaws public homosexuality.

The agenda of government and its executive branch allies, like judges, is clear. But why?

As has been discussed already, the anti-religious hate group Southern Poverty Law Center has already stated that Christians are a hate group and the Bible is hate speech.
And they're a battery of attorneys! Who ignore the first amendment to push the gay agenda.
The communist ACLU joins with the anti-religious pro-secularism anti-American Freedom From Religion Foundation so as to revoke religious freedoms in America.

Once peoples religious beliefs are outlawed in any respect it becomes easy for the secularist agenda to transform America into Sodom. Take away peoples faith, make them afraid of being prosecuted by the laws, and they'll fall into place because they're afraid to lose what they have to fight for what they want or get back what they've lost.

The truth is America, and even the world is already like Sodom. It's just that this gay agenda thing is on the front burner of immorality these days. But other sins have already been widely accepted by the population, and are practiced on a daily basis by the majority.

But I do see this gay agenda being like a vice, or an opening for Satan to bring on the war against Christians who hold fast to their faith. The Lord said it was coming, and it will come, but that time of persecution will also signal the time of the end.

What fuels the ever growing rise of secularism in america isn't the failure of a God- fearing government, but the laziness of non-loving, no proselyting christians who just go to church once a sunday and maybe bible study on wednesday, but never profess their faith or act like a christian in any manner other than sunday morning.

Point the finger at Uncle Sam all you want, but in the end its the church's fault for its own failure to adapt in the last 10-20 years like it has been doing the previous 2000.

I guess I better re-read the whole bible. I didn't realize the fall of america would lead to Christs second coming. It must be in there somewhere! Maybe its my translation?

America is just a long list of countries who at first embraced the gospel, but has also fallen away from godly morals and values.

The whole world lies in wickedness, not just a single nation, or people.

No. The purpose of the Constitution was to protect the rights of ALL, not the majority. One problem that the "Founding Fathers" found out about states, when it came to protecting the rights of its citizens was that they thought that the majority could suppress the minority.

State Constitutions do not over ride the U.S. Constitution. Judges are seeing that gays should have the same protection under the U.S. Constitution that every other citizen has, and they are by all means "lawfully" correct.

I would imagine that there were people making this same argument when women were given the right to vote or slavery was stricken down. You seem to feel that we are a "democracy" where a simple majority rules, this is incorrect. We are a Constitutional Republic and Representative Democracy. The Constitution protects the minority from the majority.

The judges are not "doing as it pleases", at least most aren't. They are making rulings based on what the U.S. Constitution grants to all citizens and the spirit of the Declaration declares.

Declaration of Independence:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness..."

Preamble of the U.S. Constitution:
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Section 1.
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. In essence, when the majority votes to deny a minority, (gays), the same privileges which are afforded to the majority, the judges must act to protect the minority. That has not been the case in many, many instances in our nation's past but that does not make the judges incorrect in their interpretation of those laws.

Marriages have been going on for 1000's of years outside of the belief in Our God. Pagan marriages have been performed in one way or another and in the US marriages have taken place outside of our Christian Churches so the institution of marriage hasn't been changed much by allowing same sex marriages.

Christians define marriage as a religious ceremony and many other religions also do this, though with a different deity. Atheists have been getting married, as well, though it is not defined as a religious ceremony so marriage is defined differently in different cultures.
