No! To be Christian you have to believe that Jesus is the son of God. To be atheist you can't believe in God.Can one be Christian and Atheist at the same time?

I don't believe in god(s) but I believe Jesus possibly existed and I agree with the principles he supposedly taught, does that render me a christian atheist?
"Atheism," Eugene wrote in later years, "true 'existential' atheism burning with hatred of a seemingly unjust or unmerciful God, is a spiritual state; it is a real attempt to grapple with the true God Whose ways are so inexplicable even to the most believing of men, and it has more than once been known to end in a blinding vision of Him Whom the real atheist truly seeks. It is Christ Who works in these souls. The Antichrist is not to be found primarily in the great deniers, but in the small affirmers, whose Christ is only on the lips. Nietzsche, in calling himself Antichrist, proved thereby his intense hunger for Christ...."Can one be Christian and Atheist at the same time?
Maybe Christian atheism is hard to imagine, but I observe that some people aspire to the nature of Christ, with atheist belief. The point of difference is that a Christian who believes in Christ has a reason to give them that faith. The atheist believes that they don't have a reason to have faith, but I would be genuinely surprised to learn that there are absolutely no atheists who given a compelling reason, would accept Him. Our beliefs are extremely circumstantial. We all have wrong beliefs sometimes. This question is like the prodigal son. Was the prodigal son any less a son while he had disowned his father? Was he a son in the end? And more importantly, who has the right to decide whether an atheist will accept Jesus when the time comes. When does the time come? It is written: every knee will bow and tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. Does it logically follow that every atheist will not accept Him then? Is it possible that an atheist accepts the spirit of Truth, but has been sufficiently disillusioned by trusting other spirits, that their beliefs do not permit them to believe theism? What about Christians themselves, have they always been on side with God? Are they always on side with Him? Do they always accept the truth when they are wrong? The concept of christian atheism hurts my head. I dont see how it is possible.
