31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. (Matthew 12:31-32)

Don't say the miracles of Jesus come from Demons. Demons cannot perform miracles because only God has that power.

Uhmm, demons can certainly perform miracles. Where did you think Pharaoh's sorcerers got their powers from?

Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 9 “When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Show a miracle for yourselves,’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and let it become a serpent.’” 10 So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the Lord commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

11 But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 12 For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. 13 And Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the Lord had said. Exodus 7:8-13

Don't be easily fooled...

How do non-Catholics explain bleeding hosts, etc.?

Well, how do non-Pentecostals explain preachers who have raised corpses from the dead and brought them back to life?

How do non-Mormons explain the appearance of gulls to eat the locusts and save the pilgrims many miles from the sea?

THE ANSWER is that none of these has ever been proven to be a bona fide miracle.

Not a month ago, it was said that an angel in the guise of a priest had showed up at a crash site to help a victim. No way this angel dressed like a priest could have gotten there and mysteriously disappeared after doing his work. A week or two later, that priest was identified and all was explained. But in the interim, there were those who didn't doubt for a moment that there was no other explanation.

 Good plan!! I'm cautious about what I say if I don't know.

Demons cannot perform miracles because only God has that power.
22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

...apparitions, such as Fatima. Eucharistic bleeding miracles, that are confirmed with science? I also recently read in OBOB about a certain saint, that on the celebration of his feast day, every single year, a vial of his blood liquifies before the congregation; the one time it didn't liquify, in 1980, there was an earthquake that killed a lot of people in the region in which this miracle takes place.

Then there's also a bleeding Eucharist miracle that was scientifically tested. The Eucharist fell to the floor, where it began to bleed. Testing was positive for a damaged human heart...

Just curious how non-Catholics reconcile these things. And of course, Mary's wish for Russia to convert with her apparition at Fatima apparently came to pass with the Russian Orthodox Church.
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Mt 24:24

That'd be these:
  • the word of wisdom
  • word of knowledge
  • faith
  • gifts of healing
  • working of miracles
  • prophecy
  • discerning of spirits
Usually all of them are present in each of the recorded instances. Sometimes these are also present:
  • divers kinds of tongues
  • interpretation of tongues

Ok.

So.

If as you say then, you would have to know what they are before you could recognize them.

Tell me in your own word, not cut and paste.

What is the word of wisdom?

How would you recognize it?

seeingeyes: I'm not quite sure, hence why I asked. I do, however, know that at least *something* is happening in Catholicism and that Jesus was also accused of performing miracles through demons.

Personally, I make about the same of it as I do NDE's and testimonies about healing and toast with Mary's face on it. Our God sends miracles and signs and healing to whomever He pleases. Praise the Lord. :)
