I think plate tectonics predates Noah's flood, although the flood may be responsible for some crustal fracturing and subsequent earthquakes in odd places as the earth rebounds from the weight of the floodwater.

I was addressing people who at least CLAIM to believe in the bible, yet consistently show that they don't believe a single thing mentioned in the bible.

The world around us could not possibly come into existence by any natural means. All theories of origination share the commonality that they are impossible; negated by the laws of physics some believe to be soverign.

The fact is, God created the universe in its mature state. You can't accept that, but your inability to grasp the truth doesn't change the truth. From the grass to the trees, and from ants to zebras, everything that exists was created in it's mature state, ready to go forth and multiply.

The global flood took place 64 million years ago and there is plenty of evidence that the world at that time was destoryed. There was no global flood in the mid 1800's so of course your not going to find any evidence from that time period. You got to know when to look.

We observe a 4.5 billion year geologic history, not maturity. That is the fact. Maturity does not require radiohaloes in rocks, or specific ratios of isotopes.

It does not matter how fast the plates have been moving AFTER the flood. Also the Hawaiian Islands are Volcanic so they were not a part of Pangaea. As long as we are here, go ahead and give me YOUR theory on what caused Pangaea to break up if it was not water. Then tell me why your theory is better then Dr Wise's theory that the break up of Pangaea was due to a flood and a lot of water. Do you have a PhD from Harvard? Did you study under Gould? I mean I know he adapted the theory to his YEC beliefs. But that does not change the mechanism at all. That just means there is a time frame difference between GAP, YEC & OEC. They tend to look at creation from a difference perspective using a different time frame.

There was no flood, unless you want to present evidence to the contrary. Also, the evidence demonstrates that the Pacific plate has been chugging along at centimeters per year for the last 70 million years BETWEEN NORTH AMERICA AND ASIA.

As long as we are here, go ahead and give me YOUR theory on what caused Pangaea to break up if it was not water. Then tell me why your theory is better then Dr Wise's theory that the break up of Pangaea was due to a flood and a lot of water.

It is the same cause as we see now, a combination of thermal flows in the mantle and cold slab pull. This is consistent with all of the evidence while Dr. Wise just makes stuff up.

Plate tectonics is the evidence for the global flood. Again, what is your theory? I hear that evolutionists have hundreds of theories to try to explain the break up of Pangaea. I said that Noah's flood was a shadow of the flood that took place back in the days of the dinosaurs. Perhaps you need to do a study to understand what shadow and types are in the Bible. I said that Satan caused the dinosaurs to bite and devour and eat one another. That is why God destroyed the world at that time. That is what Creationists believe and there is no reason to have to "prove" any of it to anyone. You are free to have your own beliefs for why the dinosaurs were destroyed and why Pangaea was broken up into the nations that we find today. Science tends to give us the facts on WHAT happened. Then we read in the Bible to find out WHY these events happened. So we can learn what God's plan and purpose is in all of this. I do not think any of this contradicts science in any way, so it should not be a problem for you at all. The physical evidence supports Creationism.
