  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm not talkin' Verde here, but straight up home/local recipes that are unique to anywhere else in the country. It exists nowhere else but right along the front range of the Rockies in a narrow band about 300 miles north and south.

Everyone else is just guessin, just like my theology...

;)
Yeah, not salsa verde. Green Chili made with pork roast, green chilies, tomatillos ...

^_^ 'Claro que si' means 'Of course' in Spanish.
:D:doh::blush:

Well, you could go virgin or half virgin margarita. I'm partial to mojitos myself. But lager with citrus or sangria seems more appropriate to me.
Mmmm love Margarita but the goldens did me in about 15 yrs ago.
Virgin would work!
Mojito 'sounds' like the right one lol. Never tried it.
But Jesus, He drank wine. :yum:

Corona with lime was going to be my beverage of choice. A hearty guac, warm, freshly made tortilla chips, a corona with lime, and relaxing in the warm sun.

And what the heck is Claro que si
Am I missing some yummy?

^_^ Sister, you have me rolling! ^_^

They are quesadillas, that have been clarified. :D

No, it literally means "clear, what yes." Which makes no sense in English. The basic gist is to say that clearly, of course Sangria would be a good choice at such a social gathering.

But Corona w/ citrus sounds good for hot summertime.

Corona was actually my first thought. Obviously I don't know my brewing companies - I don't drink.

In order for the New Earth to be eternally perfect and joyous, there will have to be a little Mexican cantina somewhere on a beautiful beach with perfect guac, perfect chips, perfect grouper tacos, perfect lager with lime, and a small band of angels playing mariachi softly in the distance.

Just up the beach from the little Greek place.

First of all its a playa

Next, get those angels off the bandstand! They can't sing the right song, and they got no soul :preach: (I've got lots of musician jokes about heaven) Can't wait til the earthly limitations upon my musicianship are removed

I was "rolling" too when I saw that.
And embarrassed! lol

I drink only for medicinal purposes.
No becoming drunk with wine which is excess,
but much being filled with the Holy Spirit instead.

When we get to glory we can dance with David!... while waiting in line ;)
