CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Great so if anyone cares what you think is right or wrong over what God does that might matter. As for 'collateral damage' that is just another phrase for killing babies and civilians. When God ordered a hit it was for a reason.

Good question. Not nuke Hiroshima and not destroy wedding and civilians, and funerals where people killed by drones were being grieved by others who had the funeral targeted etc. My suggestion would be to unilaterally destroy all womd, repent, and trust God to defend the country. For Israel I would suggest apologizing to the neighbors, agreeing to move out of the land till God brings em back, destroying all nukes...etc. Something tells me we may not see things perfectly in sync here
PS I see you said "He" I thought it was "we" as in the US or west. OK, He should have ensured that man had a way to salvation despite very evil men...just as He did.

I have no idea what led you to that conclusion. Even while teaching undergrad non-majors stuck in my survey course (because it was the only way they could earn their humanities divisional requirement without getting out of bed before 10:30am), not one ever expressed confusion over why YHWH sided against the Canaanites.
Perhaps you are simply being facetious. In any case, I'm not clear on how your interjection fits into the context of the thread.
