CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Brother Yun came to Singapore once to preach in one of our chinese churches. I went all the way there to see him preached after reading about his book. He seemed like a passionate man of God to me. He was very humble and seemed to have a great love for China. He was constantly exhorting the chinese christians in Singapore to love God and to be on fire for God. He called for the church of Singapore to wake up from our slumbers and started to do more for God. His preaching was not tied to any political agenda, and his whole message was on the saving power of Jesus and the great and mighty power of the Holy Spirit of God. His message for the Singaporean chinese christians was all about exhorting us to live a godly christian life for Jesus. There was no hate speech against China, or anything back that he had spoken against China. But his heart desire was to return to China if the Lord is willing and somehow die there if that would enable him to see many people in China coming to know God. Well, I think he seems to be a humble enough man. His prayer for me when I walk up to the altar call is fervent.

well,from you guys said so,I think bro Yun is a good guy,and I listened some of his speech from internet,now I wonder how could he go to other countries since he came out from prison

I think the reason he can come to Singapore and some other countries is because while he is considered as a prisoner in China, he is not considered that way in Singapore, or the countries in which he can go to. I think that is why he can come to Singapore, because the government of Singapore does not really see him as a prisoner but more like a religious person that is harmless. I do not know about the other countries that he can go to, though.
I do know that he cannot go back to China, anymore. Is that right?

A lot of churches carry the book called "The Heavenly Man" written by brother yun, I believe. A must read for anyone who has deep roots in the Road to Jerusalem movement, that is the evangelization of the areas from China to Jerusalem, that includes the most densely populated Hindu/Moslem/Athiest/Buddhist
