With all the posts that have to do with writing messages using emoticons and pictures, I've been inspired to kinda do the same thing but with Bible references.
You can read my message and if you feel like making your own, feel free to contribute. Preface: I'm not going to tell anyone who the person is I'm referring to in my letter. So don't ask me.



Dear Unknown2 Cor. 6:9a), In the past I must admit that at times I've watched(Matt.5:28you with the wrong intentions, but as I've taken steps(Matt. 5:29-30 ) in my spiritual growth(Rom. 12:2) and walk(2 Tim. 2:22)with the Lord, I've begun to notice more things about you other than your beauty.(1 Sam. 16:7b) The person(2 Cor. 5:17)the Lord really opened my eyes to see is a godly woman who first and foremost has a heart for Himself.(Psalm 37:4-5 ) All of this has me thinking: Someone(Prov. 31:10)(Lord willing) will be blessed to have you as a companion one day in life. If it wasn't for God calling(1 Cor. 7:20)me to a life of celibacy I would probably pursue you.Nevertheless(Matt. 26:39, 2 Tim.1:12), it's been my prayer that our God will richly bless(Eph. 3:20) you in your journey in life.

So until we all can meet in the perfect unity of the faith in the presence of Jesus Christ..Fare thee well..when the present circumstances will be passed and the new(Mark 12:25) will arrive. Then you, I, and everyone else who reads this and knows the Lord Jesus Christ & His promise(Jer. 29:11) will look back and say it was worth it all! (Rev.5:12-13)

God in Heaven,

I think sometimes I'm supposed to let my words be few to You. Please distinguish this verse from other parts of Your word where You tell me to pray continuously. Lord, I believe Your word does not have any errors. So please give me understanding. Thank You for Your ample supply of wisdom and Your willingness to impart it to needy people such as myself.

Thank You for my sisters and brothers in Christ. Thank You for those who do not even even have a personal relationship with You who read this forum. Father, I ask You for the guests who have yet to register to CF..Those lurkers who browse, may they see a difference in the communication here at CF. May they see Christ!

Father, in Jesus' name, I ask You to bless the admins and mods of this place. Give them double mercy and grace. Lord, I ask if CF will stay in the parameters of Your will, please continue to finance them to stay on the web. Father, I ask for Your people to communicate here in one accord.

So that what's said and done, and the things that carry over to other areas of our lives will have eternal proportions.

I don't get it. I know I am supposed to give up all my dreams and hopes to follow you, but I’m confused. Even when I say that I know that’s not from you either. It's a place I've been at before even though I know God's calling is
celibacy. One call to B, and his wife answers. End of that phone call. End of my work day. I'm alone. It's nothing but myself and my thoughts. But are they my thoughts, really? It's a place I've been in before. It always led me to disappointment. First to temptation. Temptation resulting in sin. Finally sin resulting in death. (or separation from God)

I'm sick of it. I'm not going to be led down the path of discouragement again. So what did the devil say to me during those quiet moments alone? I'm not going to give him the dignity of even repeating the garbage he breathed to me. It's the same old lies repackaged in different pretty boxes.

I know I'm not supposed to talk to him directly, but I want him to hear when I say in Jesus' name, GET BEHIND ME, SATAN!

Thank you Father God for opening my eyes to the deception of the wicked one. Thank you for Your wonderful and beautiful gift of celibacy. Lord, please use this letter to help some struggling soul out there in internet-land find rest and contentment in You alone. Bless us Heavenly Father to edify one another while time remains. Motivate and move us. Help us sojourn our time here in fear and trembling, knowing that we walk by faith, and there is good to those who wait on God. In Christ's name. Amen

Father in heaven, people may think whatever they want of me after reading this, but there is really only one audience I need to keep in mind here and that's You. If I didn't have You as a constant in my life I would be lost in more ways than I can count. Your servant and friend has said that he thinks that if a person was truly called to a life of celibacy then their physical desires would go away. That hasn't happened. If I'm to trust You then I know I'll always struggle with it. May it keep me on my knees. Might it bring me to Your word. Even now I'm not associating any of these thoughts with scripture, and that's because I haven't been in The Bible like I should. Don't let me linger too far away from your presence for too long a time. I need You. What if I told people that you and I have talked like friends over a dinner table? Lord, not even some of the most earnest and dedicated Christians would think that kind of two way communication between God and man are possible. Lord, please don't let me get haughty or prideful. Don't let me get so puffed up that I think I'm the only one. All while, don't let me take it for granted either. Time spent disconnected due to sin is enough to help me realize that I'm desperate for Your Spirit to commune with me. Always, help me to keep asking You to burden me for those who do not know You. Then God help me to carry out that burden in telling them about You. I praise You that you were right on that night when I first resigned and said I would need You something special. It might have been a selfish prayer, but You knew the need.

Thank You for being there. Everywhere. At the same time you're also showing me that You will not share the room of my heart with anyone or anything else. I confess. It's been hilarious and fun. The imagination is a wonderful thing. At times, compounded with schizophrenia, it's been outrageous. You know about carrying on complete conversations and activities with people that aren't even there. I've used these fantasies for perverted means and I've engaged them to just stay entertained. I've engaged in them just to have something to do and not be lonely.You've shown me You Yourself will be sufficient. So with that being said to You, God..Please help me to stay away from brain or spirit fodder that is not of You, to YOu, in You. Help me to not let my emotions or feelings produce idols that I vainly strive in and for. Help me to grab ahold of things by faith that are tangible; leaving the rest aside. The fact is I have You in my life and i'm blessed beyond whatever I could ever begin to measure. Thank You! In Jesus' name. Amen

Lord, He is one of the most unique and real followers of You that I've met. I say unique because he's the type of person that will get an entire restaurant in prayer over their food. He's the kind of guy thay walks in a place and will announce Jesus has arrived. If not by words then definitely by his actions. I say he's real because he doesn't do these things as a show. He doesn't say these things to see or to be seen. For that I give You praise for making such a cool cat as him.

Thank you that you're making us all in your image. We are your body. In Jesus' name.

O God, thank You for sparing me from losing my job yesterday. You truly are mericful. Thank you even more for giving workers on second shift off today due to bad weather. Help us use our time off today wisely. In Jesus' name, AMEN!

Here I am again, Lord. Since I don't have anyone in particular to write to, I compose another letter to you, God.

In short, Father, I set myself apart for prayer and good works so that you may be pleased, and by faith I know it will be remembered and returned.

Nice thread. I was thinking about something like this and found your thread.

I don't know why I'm afraid. I know You can cast out fear because You are who You say You are.

I don't know whether you still experience fear but I just want to tell you that nothing will happen to the bride of Christ as He lives. He is for you and with you. And He is much greater and powerful than anything that you are afraid of. Rejoice and be glad.

Wow, He first loved you, even before you ever knew Him or understood what love is. Can you comprehend how He longed to be with you when He first loved you? But, you didn't knew anything about it then and you cannot even begin to fathom His zeal for you. Remember, how He watched and waited for you, and always there by your side. He endured all things just to be with you. He yearned to love you and be born in you. He created the whole world and everything in it, yet He pursued you with great love. The creator of the universe seeks to be born in you! You know He would never leave you and that He loves you with an everlasting love. He told you that He will bless you and keep you. You would be surprised by the Many songs He dedicated to you and wrote for you. He sent you beautiful birds to deliver His letters to you. He satisfied you with His likeness and you slept like a baby in His arms, sweet and secure. So rest in Him even as He gives you the dreams that He first dreamed for you.
