Why do you continue to believe that that will come to happen?
big government
You have the same information that I have, but you refuse to see what is happening to our nation.
The big government takeover in no way can be healthy for our nation.
This whole administration is for big government...
...and the power grabs just keep controlling every aspect of our nation.
Closing down all our resources for oil, gas, coal - what will it be replaced with - giving to green energy as they take our money and pocket it and go bankrupt - what engery source has that given us.
They just keep throwing good money after bad without any approval from Congress...
The signs are all there, why can't you see them?
It does make it very likely to be untrue (some truth, but misrepresented) and certainly political. It is not political, but informative.
A quick Google search shows Dish Network channel 212 to be Glenn Beck TV.
So - that does not make it untrue.
Big government, as opposed to government or small government?
Is it the word 'big' that makes it so bad?
One example is AZ - what right does a bunch of politicans have to sit in Washington and make laws for a state overrun with illegal immegration. They are not safe, yet the government sues them for trying to uphold the laws that is good for their state.
Why should a bunch of politicians determine what schools should serve for lunch - different parts of the nation have different ideas of what they should eat - the state should determine it.
Why should a bunch of politicians set rules for cars which is impossible to meet - 56 miles per hour within the next 2 years. Why not let private companies have the competition and they will meet them. Look at the cars we have now mandated by the government - not working.
Why should government determine our insurance - let the private companies work it out - why do we have to stay within our state lines for insurance - what's wrong with just letting the companies present what they have and let the people decide.
Letting government do things is often a bad idea.Letting private companies do things is often a bad idea.

Just sayin ...![]()

Thanks Sharon. It has been said that I have no sense of humor because I don't like humor at the expense of others.
I'm not sure why "green energy" is not a good idea - unless the USA wants to fall further behind in the global marketplace.
Consider:
Saudi Arabia plans to have 100% 'green tech' for national energy needs by 2032:

A town in Bavaria is completely solar, and selling their excess onto the grid to the tune of 5.7 million dollars a year:

China is increasing its green energy sector investments at a rapid pace, example:

Unless this sort of thing has something to do with US reluctance:
U.S. Rep. John Boehner, speaker of the House of Representatives, received nearly twice as much financial support from donors tied to the energy sector than did the next-closest recipient, a report from the National Wildlife Federation finds. The 20-page report highlights the role it says oil companies play in U.S. politics, stating energy companies are working behind the scenes on Capitol Hill to influence legislation in favour of oil, natural gas and coal policies. The NWF report finds that the current 112th U.S. Congress has voted one out of every five times against legislation drafted in favour of environmental issues. Big Oil Funding U.S. Politics
