It is? So someone who holds your head underwater and drowns you is the same as someone who holds your head under till you are almost dead, then pulls you out, then dunks you again, then pulls you out, then dunks you again, then pulls you out, etc. for three weeks?
That would be kind of irrelevant. Those who don't get the message now won't get it then.

Revelation 22:11 (NASB)
11 "Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy;

Your point?

What are you trying to say?
Romans 9:15-16 (NASB)
15 For He says to Moses, "I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I HAVE MERCY, AND I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON WHOM I HAVE COMPASSION." 16 So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy.

Please just get to the point - I don't understand the context you're trying to fit this scripture into.

It's quite self explanatory.

2 Thessalonians 2:13 (NASB)
13 But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

Like, many are called but few are CHOSEN.

Self-explanatory with reference to what? And what's the actual POINT!? :doh:

You can tell God what He can and cannot do???????

Let's be honest here. No one is talking about God CAN or CANNOT do. We are talking about what God has said he DOES do and what is consistent with what God tells us about Himself. You disagree with others of us about what God says, and I can respect that. But, the way you argue your position is through solid exegesis of Scripture, not through strawmen and mind games.

We are indeed talking about what God can do. Unless you know someone who can tell God what He can and cannot do???? Please tell us. If you can't tell God what He can do then tell us who can???? But I can answer that simple question. NOBODY can tell God what to do. Pretty simple, huh?
