You don't understand. The statement doesn't travel any further than the fence.
They are only worthless when the Democrat has them. Then any bullet or shrapnel that doesn't permanently cripple you or misses a major organ is a "scratch."

Mitt Romney and like minded candidates? I feel there is an extreme element of people that want to liberalize the traditionalist and conservative movements with crap. Mitt Romney may be a better alternative. But is he a strong conservative? Not a chance. ESPECIALLY not people like Marco Rubio or all these " young guns". I'm starting to wonder if the GOP has any hope of actually electing conservative candidates. My bet is probably not.

First off, he said "conservatives". I only represent me, not all conservatives. Second, I said they were a dime a dozen in the Vietnam era, and they were. Hopefully that has been corrected, especially after the exposure of how Kerry used Purple Hearts to play the system to his benefit

My guess is that you have never been to college. I never had one professor pontificate on the immorality of the American military nor have ever had a profressor speak that far off topic in.

I can't recall hearing anything about the evils of the American military in my Differential Equations course. In fact many of my engineering professors were from the Middle East, yet all that I remember being taught was pure analytical engineering. Hmm... I must have missed something during those years in college. Perhaps, the equations we used were meant to unlock a secret Anti-America code. I guess I will have to hit the books once again.

When a soldier is wounded during combat, the Purple Heart is an entitlement. A person is under NO ethical or moral obligation to not take it, just because YOU feel they shouldn't for what turns out to be no reason at all.

Chris, you andd I are going to hear this nonsense a lot in our lifetimes. The liberal professors who go off on political tangents out of nowhere and disrupt the learning experience. Now, I'm going to be a senior in the fall and so far I haven't met one professor like this. Professors are like the bogeyman for a lot of conservatives.
