It is fine, it is just problematic on a Christian forum. Some people cannot get past the premise in many ways. The premise is: "If the Messiah was not Jesus, what would the Messiah do/be according to Jews?"

People cannot get past the first often and start balking at the idea.

It is actually a rather simple thing. In general, what Jews expect the Messiah to do, Christians expect Jesus to do in the Second Coming. Certain details such as people being judged to go to Hell are different, but the basic result is the same.

Are things cut and dry and plain as written or does Gd use all circumstances to work His will. I think islam has been used by Gd to keep the new nation of israel from rebuilding the temple, up til now; not that islam is correct. And islam was made to counter christianity, mentioning Christ in its scripture time and again. I tell you it is also a means of closing ears so that people no longer hear Christ or the good news because if people heard it, they could turn and be saved.

lol... i think hes making a point that the temple should not be built by israel....a sign being god allowed the dome of the rock to be built on the site....why else would god allow it to happen?

Israel is currently a secular nation with no king. That is not the nation described by the prophets when the Temple is rebuilt. Once the nation described by the prophets comes to be, do you suppose anything would stand in the way?

his enemies...those that judge and condemn...those that reject him as messiah....those that teach lies.....and say that the gospel is not the new testament.....and such teachings as these.....that love not ...forgive not....show no mercy....oppress the widows and poor of all nations....and on and on....basically rejecting the teachings of the new testament

actualy nothing stands in his way....he can come at any time....but the plan is that by tarrying...the enemies will grow and seperate so that when harvest comes the deeds of man is judged for a line is drawn in the sand.....those that chose to obey the gospel on one side....and the wicked on the other.....

you are not an enemy just because you reject jesus as the messiah.....to reject jesus is to reject all of his teachings....do you hate?....do you persecute? do you judge and condemn?....this is his enemies

If the awaited messiah of the Jews comes tomorrow.....would he be a false messiah if he was not Jesus?....for believers in the Christian faith....he would be false....Jesus said to be not deceive......when they say behold he is in the desert or secret chamber....do not go after him...the theme of the new testament is that Jesus is the true king and savior of Israel....all others false....past present and future

Before you try to separate the Messiah from Jesus, you need to know from Scripture who the Real Messiah is. The only way you can catch counterfeit money is by knowing all about real money.
