[Conservativation]

1. Wife found a job possibility, looks likely, that will accommodate the need to drop off and pick up our 5 yr old at school!

2. This may sound bizarre but its true, my great uncle (my moms moms brother) died at 94 recently, my mother rec'd notice she is in the will, and it seems like its a substantial amount of money....SERIOUSLY substantial. She lives on SS fixed income of about 800/month, AND she intends to help my wife and I as much as possible get out of bankruptcy....a rich uncle....who'da thunk....Im waiting for a cc of the will to read and understand it for my mother

3. Im headed off tomorrow morning for Mumbai and Bangkok...yippee

My mother-in-law stopped talking again and hasn't left her bed for a few weeks. My sister-in-law thinks that she only has a few days left. (brain cancer)
My dad got an infection when he was getting checked for his bladder cancer. Now they think his cancer spread.

But we're fine, I feel I like I should feel worse about this.

Prayers for your MIL, Blythe. Maybe you don't feel worse because you know it's in God's hands?

My grandson is two years old today, but he's too sick with a nasty flu bug to have a party. We've all been down with it except my husband, and he's starting to cough now. It's been one bug after another around these parts.

I know what you mean, Blythe. My fil is on his deathbed and has been hanging on. This morning my husband and kids woke up in very good spirits. Went grocery shopping and everything even though we know that he could pass any time now. I think it's when you already know about the possibilities of what can happen, you prepare yourself. Like, we've known for months about his cancer, that his cancer was not getting better and that his days were pretty much numbered. We pray for him, for us, for the family and God answers. It doesn't always make things easier because we're human but it helps to know that the dying member is on their way to Life Eternal.

You just keep yourself strong, get proper sleep in a bed and trust that God has everything under control.

More often than I'd like, yes!

One thing happened this week that I'm very excited about.
My daughter used her potty for the first time!

We started around 11:30 and she had been holding it since getting out of bed. I sat with her for about 45 minutes before she finally opened the flood gates.

Also my wife was given a hot lead about some work for this summer and Fall teaching one class and possibly an online class as well.

Husband broke his hand last Thursday... the bone between his pinky knuckle and his wrist... broke and dislocated. Doctor was able to realign it without surgery in the hopes that it stays in place. He went back yesterday, xray and so far it is still in place....woohoo.

PIZZA!!! I have been craving pizza lately. I have a Mystic Pizza in the freezer but need to just get in gear and make it.

My autistic son wants summer.....TODAY! lol He wants the hot sun to melt all the snow so he can sleep in the tent. I hear ya.....

Sleeping in a tent is very cool. Actually sitting around a fire til the wee hours in the morning, than sleeping in a tent is cool

I've been threatening to make pizza from scratch. But the work of making the dough is like Kryptonite to me right now.

Your local grocery store might sell the dough - I know mine does - cheap, too.

That, or you could use a bread machine if you have one. That's what I do when I have the mental fortitude to make it from scratch.

Usually make our own. But the crust really isn't homemade. It comes in a bag, you just add water.
