  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

terrible but ok. My self-worth has been challanged in the past few weeks and I feel like I'm in some sort of spiritual warfare.....I'm not sure if its tiredness, food or what but its hard for me to think clearly.:(

Getting tired. Sitting here messing around with a file I am making up for work to get the week going for a project I am getting going for myself. Realizing that as much as I like Excel, doing work at home is not the best of things. I'll do a few more things but then I'll mark where I left off and go to Borders or Starbucks and hang out with some coffee and my laptop and work on this so it is ready for me by Monday.

Feeling alone, feeling down, feeling downright blah... However, feelings are fleeting, coming and going so I will carry on doing the right thing b/c we can't help the way we feel sometimes but we can certainly control our actions. I just pray God gives me the grace when these feelings become overwhelming.
