  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh, TOTALLY! :) I am actually hoping that works out for him, because...my younger son is a basketball player and thinks it would be fun to go to school, live and then play for them. To have both of them eventually there sounds just dreamy to me. But, its in God's hands. :)

My oldest was offered three out of state baseball slots. :doh:One was cross the whole country and he was like :sorry: "I don't think so". :clap::thumbsup: Close to home is fits my agenda *perfectly*! WAHAHAHAHAAAA!:ebil:

All this talking about college makes me want to bury my head in the sand lol.
My ds is starting school in September - he turns 4 in Aug - I don't want to think about that, let alone thinking about him moving away for college one day!
