I hated that picture and I used to not look at it , it has alot of blood and I thank God that he changed it

The OT is full of blood, so what is the difference?

Why should I? The Christian Bible mentions both doesn't it? Doesn't Islam believe in a "Hellfire" also and some type of "devil guy" that is suppose to come in the future

Little Lamb of Jesus has included in his tagline area a picture called, "The Scroll, the Serpent, and our Salvation." It got my interest. It is highly controversial due to some of its interpretations. For many people, none of these deeper meanings are readily apparent. You never know why someone likes or hates this picture, and I thought it would be a good subject for discussion. Can you tell me what the images in the picture and their relationship to each other means to you?

I notice the pic isn't showin in your post so I attached a thumbnail of it along with the verses I used in my siggy to go with it.........

Proverbs 8 Also seems to gel the two together

The seed of the woman . was Jesus who was a child of Wisdom .

Luke 7

34The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners." ' 35But wisdom is proved right by all her children."

So the Seed of Wisdom is nailed to the cross and the wisdom of the law is nailed to the cross which was the power of sin . sin was the power of death which was the power of satan . so the image is quite profound showing "the seed" of "the woman" crushing the head of the serpent .

thats what comes to me at first glance anyway .

Scroll:
A better representation instead of a scroll would be two stones... Yes the ones that cause death (pun is intended).
Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone... (2 Corinthians 3:7)

Serpent:
If its a serpent, why is there a snake?
The word serpent is abstract.
Why not a dragon? Forget it being a common misconception.

Salvation:
The blood depicted, anyone can connect easily.

I like it because its dark and it gives my eyes rest off the bright back drop of CF.

wow this is wonderful and I do love the pic, shocked me at first but, but it is all said in that pic
the Blood the Word, and the defeated serpent, all done for us at one time at the Cross, and the bible says we can use that blood the word ( His promises)and we can also put the enemy under our feet , when tempted,
the word says we are to be imitators of God , and we can go to the foot of the cross daily
this is my interpretation only, not arguing or disagreeing with anyone else thoughts
