Strange weather here in downtown Fawn Lodge... first we get snow and now two weeks of dreary rain. I'd rather the snow. Well... Mayyyybe not.

Good gosh, how do you keep the pipes from freezing, let alone yourself, poor thing? Makes me want to go out and cut more firewood just thinking about it.

Revrand, what does gewiblich mean? I'm not familliar with that one. Hey, gimmie a break. Grams (Nana Liebling) died in '62, I'm lucky to have gotten the rest of it (LOL).

Looks like I may have to sell my model trains. My car needs fixing. Therefore, the trains (one of the few things I have left worth anything) have to go. Wish I knew someone who was rich and wanted to start a Garden Railway. The collection would give them a good start. My lazy nature would like that too (LOL)! Less work than inventorying everything then selling it piecemeal (yuk!). It's not going to be fun cleaning it all. Most of it is really dusty and some of it is downright dirty. Oh.. joy.

Stude, our pipes are well below the surface so they are less likely to freeze unless it gets really cold, ah, you know, below zero or more. Our forecasted high for Sunday is 4 above with winds. Now that is downright chilly.
