CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like pepperoni pizza. Now that my housemate, his sister and her fiance have retreated to the basement to watch some random movie, I may go and heat up the leftovers.

Back when I was a lonely bachelor in Norfolk, VA, I often had leftover pizza for breakfast.

I saw this vegan pepperoni. I wasn't even tempted to buy it. Really, the thought of meat grosses me out so why would I want to eat fake meat? I'll stick with tofu. Yum.

yeah, my mom buys me these soy "meat" slices, that I could really take or leave. The soy ground meat is better, but only because I can do so much more with it than the slices. I'm not sure what I'd think of faux pepperoni.

If you go to a Muslim restaurant, you can have "halal" pepperoni pizza, which is essentially pepperoni that's made of steak meat rather than pork.

I have eaten meat in the past, but I've been on off and on vegetarian since I was about 8 or 9. I recently switched to veganism as a way to improve my health and lose weight. Will I ever eat meat again? I don't know at this point. I'm pretty content without it.
