To Cindy,

I feel God readdirming you are a good wife to your husband, you have been walking according to Proverbs 31, and he has certainly found himself a "good thing".

The verses that came to me:

Proverbs 31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom, and in her tongue is the law of kindness. (and remember: from the overabundance of the heart the mouth, ie tongue, speaketh, and kindness is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, so we can essentially read this verse as: and in her heart is the Holy Spirit...)

27: She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness (oh how you work so hard, both for your family and the Lord)

29: Many daughters have done virtuosly, but thou excellest them all (for everything you do that is in word or deed is done as to the Lord).

And Lord, I pray that You "give her the fruit of her hands, and let her own work praise her in the gates."

Shepherd1, the Lord is making me search deep for what He may want to say to you. Afterall, you seem to be in a position where little confirmation is required.

I was lead to Lamentations 3:23

"[The Lord's mercy] is new every morning, great is His faithfulness (24) The Lord is my portion, saith my soul, therefore will I hope in Him. (25) The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh him.

26: It is good that a person should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord (salvation in the lives of others even...)

Faith rises up within you as you see the Holy Spirit perfect His work within the lives of those you have been intercessing for. He has heard your prayers. Like the annoying woman who kept pestering the wicked judge over and over until he vindicated her cause, so has God begun to move. Of course, your not annoying, your righteous, and He isn't wicked, He is righteousness.

And how much more does our Heavenly Father give good things to those who ask Him. Of course, you have been asking for good things to go to others. Your selfless deeds and sacrifice have certainly been noticed. She who waters will herself be watered. Be ready...

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the word (truth), and the Word (truth) was with God and the Word (truth) was God.

1:14, and the Word (truth) was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten (birthed) of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 8:31-32. Then Jesus said to those Jews which believed on Him: If ye continue in my word, then ye are my disciples indeed: and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

You are on the right brother in Christ. I kept recieving the words: keep seeking the truth, God will increase your understanding. Continue in His word.

And J4Jesus, never met you, don't know a thing about you, but I am recieving a few verses from Exodus:

15:2 The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation: He is my God and I will prepare Him an habitation (in our hearts)...

15:3. The Lord is a man of war, the Lord is His name.

15:13 Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

Hope these are applicable.

I'm very touched. I'm touched both by the message itself, and that you took the time to seek the LORD for each one of us. I'm deeply touched.

The word you brought forth to me was a great encouragement.

:) :)

Thank you Cindy. I like hearing that I have given a word in due season; afterall if it is not in due season, I may as well put the entire Bible up on large dart board and randomly pick Bible verses for people to have about the same impact.

Lol, besides God kept placing all of you on my heart one by one as I was typing. May the glory be given to God for this.:bow::clap::clap::bow:

Oh Watchtower - I'm so happy to hear from you LOL! Your words have brought much comfort to my soul. I like to hear confirmation - just like the next person. I'm so glad you are a part of this forum praise God! Yes, I have been just like that annoying woman - I have held God accountable for His promises to me in recent times LOL - meaning that I have said to Him 'Ok God, you have promised me this and I'm not letting go until I get it! LOL! I have been walking by faith and not by sight. So accurate! Well done My good and faithful servant saith the Lord to you My friend. (I believe LOL!) HALLELUJAH!

PS Now confirmation back to you My brother - the Lord indeed has told me those very things just the other day - to wait in Him, to watch what He does and that My reward is coming...There is confirmation for me in everything you have said - in every paragraph - in every sentence - truly!!!! You have no idea!!!!

LOL! :D:D:D

Lol, everytime I read one of your posts Shep I just have to laugh. Seriously, I don't know what it is or why, but I find great humor and joy in your posts.

Everyone else's Scriptures came relatively quick to me, but for you, I just stared off into space for about five minutes. I was about to ask God if I had heard correctly from Him for having a word for you, when I recieved that verse in Lamentations. Just thought I would share...

On the subject of joy and humor, I feel I should post my take on Gideon's story found in Judges 6 and 7.

It starts out, Gideon is hiding in the wheat thresh, because he is afraid of the enemy, when the angel of the Lord interrupts his total act of cowardice.

Angel: (6:12) The Lord is with thee mighty man of valor!
Gideon: There's a mighty man of valor around here? Where?
Angel: I'm talking about you, your gonna save Israel.
Gideon: Me? But I'm just a wimp.
Angel: That's not what God says.
Gideon (vs 15): No seriously, check it out: I am the least of my father's house, and my father's house is the least of my tribe, and my tribe is the least of all the tribes of Israel. So I am the least of the least of the leastest.

6:16, but the Lord assured Gideon he would be with him. So Gideon takes ten of his father's servants and they cut down his father's alter to Baal and sacrifices his bull... The next morning, the townspeople come against him wanting to kill him, but His father, totally cool with what happened, turns them away saying to them, let Baal avenge his own death.

The next thing Gideon did was throw two fleeces in front of God and asked him to soak the fleece but not the ground, then followed by letting the ground be soaked but not the fleece. And in both cases, God allowed this to come to pass.

So Gideon calls together an army. The turnout is pretty good. Too good in God's opinion. So he has Gideon tell the people that if they are wimps, to leave. (God prevents Gideon himself from walking away at this moment.) Then there were still too many people. God wanted to downsize the army. So He has them drink from the river. Only 300 of them pass the test God set up.

That night, God comes to Gideon and tells him (7:10), I have given you the victory, but if you still doubt, then go to the enemy's camp. IMMEDIATELY Gideon sets out and sneaks into the enemy's camp and over hears a dream the enemy had, followed by its interpretation (vs 14) "this is nothing else save the sword of Gideon, the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian and all the host."

This enemy, despite having the strong gift of dream interpretation (the gifts come without repentance) doesn't think to join Gideon or even leave the enemy camp. And this is the point, a true reflection of our enemy. He knows what is going to happen to him. He has suffered an infinite number of humiliating defeats at God's hands, and every time, he gets up and decides to punish himself by going against God and suffering another humiliating defeat! And some people think he's intelligent...

Chapter 7 ends with Gideon confusing the enemy to think a mighty army has come upon them, and they flee in terror. Just another day in the life of a man or woman of God. We experience the bizarre daily.

--With blessings.

Lol, one day. But only as God opens those doors unto me. Only He can...
But I feel we need a fresh take on the Scriptures. The Pastor who raised me, he did some very profound things, but the most profound was when he had Old Testament characters quoting New Testament stuff. Those types of things just made the Bible come alive to me. We'll see what happens, all in all. For now, I'm still just at the mercy of my own povertous state. Only God can fix that.

And yeah, it is pretty funny. Sometimes, I have the most difficult time hearing from God for others; and other times it comes quick, so quick that I wait around to see if there is confirmation on it first. We'll see what happens.

Lol, well theres an idea... Best way to put it is IF God truly does give me what He has revealed to me He would (in essence my dream), then I will be a very, very UNCONVENTIONAL pastor. I'm going to serve the Body with certain Pastorial functions, yes... But I think God may have a higher calling on my life... Time well tell for sure.
