Stupid is as stupid does, and _____ is one stupid player.

The only move that was dumber in the history of Survivor, IMO, was the kid who gave away immunity on Fans vs. Favorites.

That is what everyone watching in out family was saying last night. "How can __________ be so stupid?!"

Brilliant stratregery on the part of Rupert in the first half. The meltdown was a top 10 Survivor historical drama moment. At this point I really don't care who wins - I just want Russell to go.

And come on Jerri. Russell looks at you at the last moment of Tribal, mouths "Danielle" and you go along like a good little sheep? You were on the second season. You were on All Stars. You're 35 years old*. Grow a spine finally and think for yourself.

Best line of the night was Jeff either being subtle or making a Freudian slip. When Parvarti was to hand over the idol he commented, "Parvarti looks like shes ready to give it up." ^_^

*I guess, not sure and don't care enough to Google.

I can't believe that Sunday is the finale! The Reunion show will be interesting once again with Russell. I just hope he doesn't win by default. I want to see him act all pouty like he did last season when he lost and thought he "deserved" it. Compared to the first time he played, I have started to really like Rupert. I would love to see him defeat Russell.

Yaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!!!

What a vile creature. Boston Rob was right. He played to make it to the final 3, not to win. You can't - dang you CF decorum rules - abuse your fellow castaways and expect them to reward you for that*.

* I have a more colorful way of stating this, if you want to see it, PM me. :)

LOL. I totally agree with you ;)

My husband and I were talking about this last night, how others have played similar games and it worked for them - like Richard Hatch. The difference, I think, is that Hatch was a snake, yes, he lied to everyone, yes, but he also provided food for the tribe and went fishing constantly. He was charming and made everyone think they could trust him but when he screwed them, it was clear that it was in the name of strategy and game-play.

Contrast that to Russell, who does nothing around camp, lets everyone else serve him and do all the work, burns their socks in the fire, hides the camp machete just to create drama, openly disrespects people... absolutely no charm or social game at all. Why he thought he would be rewarded for that kind of behavior is beyond me.

Exactly Snootch! It's not enough to be a puppet master/Machiavellian, you also have to prove some worth to the tribe in the process. His petulence at not being "given" the million for his "genius" exhibits an utter lack of self-awareness.

To quote whoever said it first (I think it was Rupert), he's on the Villians for a reason.

Sandra played a great under the radar game, Parvati played a great dominant game, either one would have been better than that bullying troll. Heck, I'd even have been satisfied with seeing Jerri and her Chicklet teeth win!

What was America thinking!

LOL! I agree. It just fed into what he wanted. And for the second time, Russell thought he should be crowned a winner, just because he "played the game so hard". So what! Lot's of people play the game hard but at least know how to win. I think it's absurd that he claims to play to get to the end but not to win. Huh? Why bother! I think it's interesting that
in both cases he didn't receive a single vote from the jury. At what point will Jeff's comments sink in? Russell clearly didn't care about the rules of the game; he just stubbornly thinks that finding hidden idols and plotting and scheming are all it takes to win. And he's been wrong twice in a row. At least Jeri and some of the other players say that they learned from their past mistakes and attempted to do better this time. (As an aside, I have to say that I thought Jeri's makeup last night was hideous...it made her look really old!)

Anyway, I give props to Sandra for winning a second time. She made a good point that once again, escaped Russell. She never won challenges and didn't control strategy in the game, but she still was the last woman standing. So much for all the tangibles. I wish her and her husband well.

What a disappointing ending. There is no way Sandra had any right to win this game. All she did was pretty much nothing except to make sure no one got mad at her. She had no strategy whatsoever.

Parvati, on the other hand, played a masterful game and deserved the win. She won challenges. She took HUGE risks to forge alliances and develop a strategy. I can't see how she didn't get the unanimous jury vote or the fan favorite. Seriously, she played the best game of Survivor ever.

It was a great show and a fun season to watch, but I'm just frustrated that the clear winner of the game wasn't properly rewarded.

The only problem with your theory is that she aligned herself with Russell, the most hated player in the game. That was her fatal mistake. Sandra on the other hand, tried to get rid of Russell and gained a lot of respect from the jury who then voted for her. She deserved to win because of that.
